Kim Kardashian Shows Off Bump In High-Waist Skirt -- Love Or Loathe?

The pregnant bombshell was seen out on March 19th in a black velvet pencil skirt, top and a lace shrug, which showed off her 5-month baby bump. The high-waist skirt has been a pattern in her maternity wear — do you love or loathe her look?

Kim Kardashian has talked openly about her struggles to dress her new body while being pregnant, but it looks like she is really starting to use black as her go-to! The reality star was seen in the forever-slimming color head to toe. Her BFF LaLa Vasquez, on the other hand, donned a crisp white suit with gold detailing and matching gold heels to show off her impressive slimmed-down figure!

The reality star also tweeted a picture of her and LaLa sitting inside the restaurant. In the pic, LaLa is smiling and has her hand on Kim’s baby bump — so cute!

Kim’s high-waisted skirt resembles a similarly-cut white skirt she wore on March 12, showing Kim’s trend of covering her baby bump with high-waisted attire — including the infamous snakeskin peplum pants she donned on Feb. 22 — rather than covering her body with more flowy attire.

Kim Has Blogged About Her Maternity Wear ‘Struggles’

Kim has taken to her blog to openly talk about her maternity wear and her journey through pregnancy in the hopes to help other expectant mothers.

“I’m definitely having a lot of fun with my maternity fashion and love trying new things. I want to share my pregnancy fashion tips with other expecting moms out there and I know it’s different for everyone; some women start showing sooner, others don’t start showing until later, but I want to share my own personal experiences with you guys along the way,” wrote the fashionable business woman.

Snooki Gives Kim Maternity Fashion Advice

Snooki told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY exactly what she thinks of the reality star’s maternity wear at the GLAAD Awards red carpet on March 16.

“Well, I didn’t try to wear tight things. And I feel like she’s trying to fit into tight things,” Snooki said. “But I saw a picture of her and she was wearing a blouse and she looked awesome, so needs to stick with the blouses!”

Lately the red carpet regular has been spotted in some wild outfits from printed maxi dresses to feathered baby doll tops and leggings. She has been trying to still stand out despite of her baby bump, but personally for us we like the more subtle outfit she wore to dinner.

The problem is that she isn’t wearing maternity clothes. She is trying to fit herself into regular clothes which are cutting into her in all the wrong places.

Kim looks better in this outfit. I like her so much but i think she is not happy pregnant so she is trying to hide and still wear all the fashion show clothes. This is time to be a proud mom, people pay millions to have a shot at being pregnant. Still looking frumpy and stuffed into her pencil skirt. Why would a 5-month pregnant woman let someone talk her into wearing a pencil skirt,with a waistband choking her right below her bustline, for goodness’ sake? The little cut-off shrug draws even more attention to the poor fit of this outfit. The woman has absolutely no sense of style, taste, body shape, or comfort. She should attempt to look motherly, soft, and sweet during this time, rather than short, dumpy, and crammed into the tightest outfit and most uncomfortable shoes she could dig up. I think it should be a wake up call for her when even people like Snooki are telling her to change her look. lol
