The star dressed to impress in an anything-but-basic LBD and added a sci-fi touch to her look thanks to silver metallic sandals — did you think she looked premiere perfect?

Diane Kruger never fails to impress us on the red carpet, and her latest premiere look was no exception. The star was dressed sophisticated and chic when she arrived at the LA premiere of The Host at ArcLight Cinemas Cinerama Dome in Hollywood on Mar. 19, where she wore a sleeveless black frock from Thakoon’s Fall 2013 collection. The sleeveless, dandelion embroidered dress was decorated with floral appliques, while lace insets down the sides and at the hemline added a sexy vibe to the ensemble.

Diane always oozes effortless glamour on the red carpet, but she isn’t one to really flaunt her sexy side — that is, until now! Considering she can pull off practically anything she wants to wear, I thought this look was perfect for the star.

A metallic manicure matched her two-tone Jimmy Choo ‘Malika’ booties and the sexy silver shoes added a sci-fi touch to her get-up, which is so appropriate considering the movie is about aliens. Stephen Webster ‘Firework’ white-diamond earrings completed the look.

The star stuck to a minimalistic beauty regimen, letting her natural beauty shine right through. Her hair was deeply parted to the side and was worn behind her ears while luscious lashes and a pretty, pale pink lip completed her flawless look.

While Diane usually stars in more adult roles, she’s definitely embracing her new-found fan base that comes along with starring in a Stephanie Meyer project — after all, look at how the Twilight franchise erupted! We caught up with her at the premiere, where she said, “I’m ready for it, I never have had more teenage boys ask me for dates and I love it!”

What do you think of Diane’s latest red carpet get-up? Are you excited that the star decided to flaunt her sexy side?
