The 26-year-old was crowned winner of the 14th season of the competitive weight-loss show as a member of tough trainer Jillian Michaels’ team. After losing 121 pounds, she shed nearly half her body weight! Watch the emotional finale.
Danni Allen lost a lot of weight, but gained a whole new life on March 18 when she was crowned season 14 winner of NBC’s competitive weight-loss show The Biggest Loser. The advertising account coordinator, 26, shed a total of 121 pounds — 46.9 percent of her starting body weight — and took home the grand prize of $250,000!
In the live finale weigh-in, Danni was up against season favorites Jackson Carter, 21, and Jeff Nichols, 24. Although Jackson lost a total of 42.07 percent body weight and dropped from 328 pounds to 190, he didn’t make it to the final two. So Danni and Jeff went head-to-head for a final weigh-in showdown.
Danni & Jeff Face Off In Final Weigh-In
Of the final two, Jeff was the first to hop on the scale. He weighed in at 207, dropping from his starting weight of 388, losing a total of 181 pounds and a percentage of 46.65. But Danni was the last to jump on the scale, and when she weighed in at 137 pounds — a dramatic 121-pound loss from her starting 258-pound frame — it was clear she was the winner after losing a total of 46.9 percentage of her body weight!
Danni Allen Crowned Biggest Loser
Before her final weigh-in, Danni revealed that even if she wasn’t the winner, she was still super proud of herself.
“I didn’t know that my dreams were possible, and I finally feel like my dream’s come true,” she said before her last weigh-in. “I feel whole again and it just took clearing out all that mental stuff that I had going on to get to this place.”
But she did win — and she immediately erupted in tears when she was crowned the winner!
As the confetti fell, she hugged her tough-as-nails trainer Jillian Michaels after her big win. Congrats to Danni!
