Rihanna fans will now be able to see what went on behind-the-scenes of her ‘777’ tour as a documentary chronicling last year’s jet-setting tour is set to air in May. Keep reading for details!
The documentary, entitled, Rihanna 777 “provides an inside look at the singer’s ambitious and often turbulent tour, from the sound of popping champagne corks on the plane to the backstage chaos to the singer’s special worldwide appearances,” Fox says in a statement on Mar. 18.
Rihanna’s Documentary: What Fans Will See
In the one hour special, fans will get to go behind-the-scenes of RiRi’s 2012 “777” World Tour, where the 25-year-old performed in seven countries, in seven days to promote Unapologetic, the singer’s seventh album. The documentary will also air clips from inside her private jet where she lived it up with her clique, reporters and even her fans.
Reports say the film will highlight Rihanna’s performances in Mexico City, Toronto, Stockholm, Paris, Berlin, London and New York.
Speaking of tours, Rihanna’s currently on the road on her “Diamonds” World Tour.
Rihanna’s Sick – Cancels Two Concerts
As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Rihanna had to cancel two shows — one in Boston on Mar. 10 and the other in Baltimore on Mar. 12 — after falling ill to the flu and laryngitis.
She rebounded, however, coming back to the stage in Philadelphia on Mar. 14 with a vengeance!
The singer looked amazing as she performed in front of a sold-out crowd, coming to the stage sporting a sparkling black jumpsuit with an out-of-this-world neckline that gives Jennifer Lopez a run for her money.
Sound off, HollywoodLifers. Are you excited to see Rihanna’s “777” documentary?
