Keyshia Cole Slams Beyonce For New Song ‘Bow Down’

Keyshia Cole Disses Beyonce
FameFlynet

There’s one girl definitely not ‘bowing down’ to Beyonce — Keyshia Cole!

Beyonce just released her new single, “Bow Down”, on Mar. 17,  and within 24 hours she was already getting mixed feedback. You either hate it or love it. And, Keyshia Cole defintely ain’t lovin’ it!

Keyshia thinks that Queen B took it too far with her single “Bow Down”. Keyshia took it to Twitter on March 18, to try and bring Beyonce back down to earth.

Keyshia tweeted, “First “Women need to Stick together” now bitches better Bow. Smh. But it’s all G! Chicks stay shooting the s**t. But when I speak my mind its a prob. #Well #StayMad.”

She then continued to tweet, “I done kept it real from the start! #RespectTHAT” and “Can’t stand when people all self righteous when it’s convenient it makes them look good. Lmao! But can still talk s**t when convenient 2 FOH.”

Keyshia was furious with Beyonce’s attitude in her new single after she preached about women unity.

Beyonce & Kesyhia Cole: An On-Going Feud

This isn’t the first time Keyshia slammed Bey. During the Super Bowl, while fans were rejoicing at the reunion of Destiny’s Child and trying to figure out how Bey blew the power in the arena, Keyshia was slamming the performance.

Keyshia tweeted, “F**k that shit up then Beyonce! Bad b***h central. I think I was frightened to blink for a sec. Then Michelle sung and woke my ass up from my daze! She always f***ing the groove up.”

Kelly Rowland put Keyshia in her place. “We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her,” she told Rolling Stone. “So, I really don’t care what she said.”

That was just the beginning. Now, Keyshia turned the fire up just after Queen B and Destiny Child fans cooled down.

What do you think, Hollywoodlifers? Is Keyshia out of line or is she right for trying to put Beyonce in her place? Do you love her new single?

I’d like to point out keyshia”s comment about Beyonce’s performance “bad b** central” Keyshia if she’s a hypocrite wth are you??!! ok shut up now.. and for 2:

With all the mess she’s had thrown at her I think she deserves this one single…. People get cocky all the time, her being humble and people knowing absolutely nothing about her and her life still got her a whole lot of hating for no reason so if she goes off this one time then go ahead girl… We all listen to songs with the b word and actually use the word. She’s a grown woman and she’s not a saint. I think that’s the point she’s trying to make by revealing a little more about herself and this single. Last but not least she’s not speaking to her fans, the ones she’s addressing well they know who they are and it serves them right for opening their mouths in the first place….

Obviously you did NOT get Keyshia’s point. Yes, Keyshia said b**tch in her comment about Beyonce’s SB performance, BUT Keyshia has always been known for “keeping it real” and being hood. Beyonce on the other hand, has been known as a “Ms Goody Two-Shoes”… and now all a sudden she wants to act all hard/hood and talk smack. It just points out how manufactured and calculated (and that’s putting it nicely) Beyonce has been all along. That’s Keyshia’s point. But I’m sure you’ll never see it this way.

But I will agree she has a right to put out a song checking her haters if she wants. However, I’ve notice a pattern in this regard. It seems when artists start making songs to address haters and negative press, that’s right around the time their music success starts to decline (or has already declined). Because generally, when you’re at the height of your game, you don’t really have time to address the little people criticizing you. So while she has every right to make whatever type of song she wants, she would have done sooo much better to have not even addressed her haters. Why even bother? Yeah there was a big overreaction to her lip-syncing the national anthem at the inauguration, but she came right back and quickly put that to rest by performing it at her pre-SB press conference and then went on to do the SB. I mean really, how many artists get to do the Super Bowl? Plus she just had an HBO special that’s been playing repeatedly like crazy the last few weeks. If all her accomplishments in just this year alone aren’t enough to shut her haters up, then her new song won’t either.

Keshia Cole is a jealous bitter hag. Why worry about what someone else is doing? She needs to work on her own material. If someone is doing well, congradulate them! Period. An artist song is sometimes an expression of the way they feel or maybe they have a message. You may not agree and that is fine. So write your own music and express your views. And to the person who says Tamar Braxton is old at 36…really? That is not old at all and for a woman she is coming into her prime! – Not even there yet.

I’m sorry but I don’t care who sings a song like this…but if you like a song that tells you to bow down to them…then you are an idiot. Ain’t no way I am bowing down to no d@mn body unless it is someone who came into this world to die and save my life (Jesus)! Just saying! :) (excuse my cursing…but I had to emphasize my anger toward all of this)

Wow and they say Beyonce is a hypocrite…ha! You cursed in the same sentence with Jesus. Don’t you remember that scripture that says to ‘season your words with salt’?

And Keyshia Cole being real? HA! Don’t make me laugh she is just another actor in a play! She never wrote any of her own music, just sang some generic love songs that anyone can sing! Added, its pretty obvious she’s saying all this to keep publicity so her next album will sell! Real my foot! Another hater cause Beyonce is making millions. And Kelly Rowland is way realer and has more character than Keyshia Cole ever will. What has Keyshia cole ever given to her society? Huh? Except criticism? Beyonce has helped all kinds of people. And yet people want to hate! So Beyonce needs to show those haters whose boss. Keyshia Cole wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for Beyonce. Beyonce opened the doors for many singers/entertainers.
Keyshia Cole has never been real! She needs to get off her high horse, because she’s the one acting like SHE’S all that, when obviously she’s not.

Since the saint would like to preach to this sinner about being a hypocrite (no one is perfect by the way to include yourself) then please tell me what scripture that is? I’d love to know. :) As far as the Keshia thing goes since you typed me a novel about her when I didn’t even mention her in my post to begin with…I was talking about the message in Beyonce’s song. It’s a dumb song…period! Only people who will listen to anything and like it would agree that her song makes sense…and that seems to be where most people these days are going…that’s why music now is lame and overrated. Why does Beyoncé need to stoop herself to a lower level to “prove a point”? She doesn’t have to explain herself to anyone…so why in the manner she approached this as? Explain that please…but get to the point…not another novel Lol

If you are going to be a role model then be one. The only thing r should be bowing down to is our saviour. We give people to much power. Mo matter how famous you become you should remain humble. Also stop teaching our young girls to cater men. Sexual attributes cjanges you woll get older. Teach them to develop their minds, body and dpirit

its all about #’s Tamar’s Love and War can’t be topped she blew the charts out in less than 24hrs with a great song, this song has some issues but its getting recognition even if it is of an unhealthy emotional issue pertaining to bey, she has to find healing somewhere and if putting ppl down to try and lift her own spirit is the only way she knows how to heal, so beit.

Put others down? what do you call Keyshia Cole doing?! She put down Michelle Williams! What did Michelle ever do to her?! Nothing. And yet you call her being real! Please stop your bias comments. Its so irritating how people act like Beyonce is the bad guy, when Keyshia Cole is the one who came at Beyonce first. Beyonce talking to hater like her who could never stand her no matter what she does. Beyonce could have made a song about flowers and Cole would still have something to say. So please, putting others don? This whole article was about Cole putting down two individuals who did nothing to her.

Problem is keisha should have kept that thought in her mind and NOT OUT OF HER MOUTH! Even if you dont like Michelle voice at least she was allowed to even sing at the “Super Bowl” where was Keisha ……. (crickets) So the next time you hear another artist sounding whack and you are an artist, try keeping that stuff just where it came from IN YOUR MIND! Do you ever hear Beyonce , Kelly or Michelle hating or judging another artist, just sayin. Sometimes u need to STFU! and sell some more albums first!! Be grateful that you as an artist have a platform period to show your talent. True or not about what she spoke, sometimes truth dont need to be heard especially when it cant change anything but hurt the one thats speaking it! Again do u Keisha and Beyonce WILL do her. Dont hate on her cus she raised the bar! Maybe all other artist should “Bow Down” cus Beyonce is at the Top! That goes for all of you jealous artist that are not talented enough to be where she is. Does anyone hear Aleshia, Mary, or others hating on anyone? Take notes keisha so yes! “Bow Down”!!

Beyonce deserves to make a song about whatever she wants and she has earned that right! Bey may not have directed the song toward anyone but if the lyrics fit then u should think about why they fit! Why be defensive if you did not clapp first! Why u mad! Take that maddness into the studio and cut a decent album first! I mean really! BEYONCE CAN SING WHAT SHE WANTS! What u trying to start something so that people will buy your album again?Really? This is RnB not Rap! Dont start it with Bey so you can get some buzz. Its not cute at all. True or Not. Its not cute at all. I love keisha cole but this attitude stinks and is so ugly of her. Bey is probably tired of hearing the comments and flexing a little and if so then good for her! SHE CAN! So all u artist that is hating take several seats and recognize!

Yes, Keyshia is right about Beyonce but I also agree that when you’re a celebrity yourself you should never openly criticize another artist when it comes to their work… It’s just not professional. I also didn’t like it when Keyshia went after Michelle. That’s the whole problem I see with celebrities handling their own twitter accounts. Don’t you guys pay PR people to speak for you? LET THEM!!! or you can always leave it to the fans to talk smack for you!!! Take note Keyshia.
