The lovely Kate Middleton, 31, is ready to take on parenthood with her husband Prince William, 30, with the same grace and style that she gives everything else in her life. She has the whole world watching how she deals with her pregnancy and with being a mom, but she said at the St. Patrick’s Day parade in Hampshire, England that she understands what being a mom means!

Kate Middleton: Ready To Be A Mom

During the parade that Kate attended, Sergeant Thomas Laven, who was at the parade, received the the opportunity to say a few words to the noble duo when Kate and Prince William were giving out shamrock sprigs to the guardsmen, according to Us Weekly. Sergeant Laven took this time to speak with Kate about her pregnancy, as well as about his own life as the dad of a 7-month-old son, Theo.

“I congratulated her on the impending birth and said, ‘You’ve got sleepless nights to come,’” the sergeant said to reporters following the ceremony, according to Us Weekly. “She said she was prepared for it.”

One In Three Marriages End After Sleepless Nights — Study

Even though Kate is prepared to stay up all night with the royal baby, a new study conducted by the show Bedtime Live on British TV station Channel 4 revealed that one in three marriages ends, thanks to staying up all night with screaming kids!

The study polled 2,000 parents about how much sleep they get each night, and split-up parents were also asked about the cause behind their failed relationship. About 30 percent of the separated parents questioned revealed their restless nights were due to kids keeping them up, and as the reason for the end of their marriage!

“Behavioural difficulties, family issues, learning and concentration issues: there is a significant number of these common problems which have poor sleep at the heart of it,” Psychologist Tanya Byron, who appears on Bedtime Live, said, according to the Daily Mail.

I love Kate but I suspect she will have more help with her baby than most mothers. A nanny will become a necessity as they take on more public engagements.
