Emma won’t be swapping her wand for whips and chains any time soon! Amid rumors that she would be starring in ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’, Emma took to Twitter to totally diss the part.

Emma Watson will not be starring in Fifty Shades Of Grey! The girl most recognizable for playing the part of Hermoine in Harry Potter has dissed all rumors that she would be next taking on the role of sexy submissive Anastasia Steele by slamming the reports on Twitter. Read on to see what she had to say.

Emma Watson Denies ‘Fifty Shades Of Grey’ Role

On March 16 Emma took to Twitter to diss all the rumors that she would be starring in the S&M trilogy.

She wrote “Who here actually thinks I would do 50 Shades of Grey as a movie? Like really. For real. In real life,” followed by “?.” After her fans joked that they could not imagine her doing such a racy role, she then wrote ”Good. Well that’s that sorted then,” with a smiley face.

Everyone loves an emoticon!

While Emma certainly has the doe eyed look and the dark hair required to play Anastasia, many fans of the books think she is too straight laced and proper to play such a sexy part.

Emma Watson — Not Sexy Enough To Be Anastacia Steele?

HollywoodLife.com‘s editorial assistant Emily Longeretta thinks that Emma does not have enough sex appeal to play such a raunchy character.

Emily says that there is “no doubt that Emma is beautiful – on red carpets, in her films, and even in paparazzi shots with no makeup, she looks flawless. However, the sado-masochism role requires quite a bit of sex appeal – one that I feel Emma really lacks. We’ve barely seen Emma show PDA, let alone be tied to a bed!”

What do YOU think HollywoodLifers? Are you happy that Emma is not taking the part? Who should?

@Jeanne Let KS stick to SWATH2. There’s no way she is talented or sexy enough to play Ana.

Think I’ve commented on this before? Kristen Stewart would be perfect in the role of Ana. She has said she likes “putting herself out there” and she has everything needed for this movie, including the looks, demeanor, acting ability and the guts to do it. It’s a tough role for a young girl to play so she would need to be strong to handle it. Kristen has my vote.

They should go with an unknown actress and see what they come up with.
Never saw her in the title role. Could not picture Emma playing Ana.
She has cleared up the confusion, so lets move on everyone.

She’s too talented to be in a porno and let’s not kid ourselves, that is what the movie will ultimately become. She is too great an actress to be linked to it & should stick to doing movies which inspire & move people, she really is that good;-)

Emma has the talent and strength to play the role, but I am glad she’s got the wisdom to say no. Such a movie could ruin her career and her image as a role model to young women. She’s got many other outlets for her many talents: actress, designer, investor, spokesperson, and business woman. She doesn’t need this movie or the image it would portray.
