Kate Middleton got super friendly with a St. Patrick’s Day parade guardsman, and even told him that she’s praying for a little prince!

Kate Middleton: ‘I’d Like To Have A Boy’

“She said ‘I’d like to have a boy and William would like a girl,’” said Sergeant Thomas Laven, a guardsman who was personally awarded a long service medal from Kate. Apparently Thomas is the type that people open up to, because Kate revealed plenty to him during their short conversation.

Aside from admitting that she’d like to have a boy, Kate also told Thomas that they had not yet chosen any names.

Kate Middleton: Purposely Confusing The Media?

Kate’s conversation with Sergeant Thomas might just be a tactic to misdirect the media, who had previously reported that Kate and Prince William were expecting their “little grape” to be a girl and also that they had already picked out a name!

On Mar. 5, Kate was given a teddy bear by a local at the National Fishing Heritage Centre in Grimsby, England, and reportedly responded, “Thank you, I’ll take that for my d–,” suspiciously cutting herself off — perhaps from saying “daughter?”

Following Kate’s possible slip up, another report surfaced alleging that the royal couple had chosen a name for their baby – Elizabeth Diana Carole! The name sensibly honors both Queen Elizabeth and William’s deceased mother Princess Diana. But what do we think now? Are the reports false, or is Kate just playing a little game with us?

Kate Middleton: ‘Prepared’ For Motherhood

One thing’s for sure — she’s excited to be a mother. Upon meeting Sergeant Thomas, he jokingly told her she had many sleepless nights in her future. She happily responded, saying she was “prepared for it.”
