Can we take a moment to notice she doesn’t say ‘written’ or ‘inspired’ she just said ‘directed’. She’s not saying that Harry was the person behind the song. All she’s saying is the guy it was directed at that night was Harry. Because at the time she was feeling those emotions again. She was feeling that, I knew it wasn’t going to be good but I went for it anyway, feeling.

Taylor said Treacherous and I Knew You Were Trouble is about the same person. Treacherous is the beginning, and I Knew You Were Trouble is about the end. She was warned about John Mayer in the beginning.

[‘Treacherous’ was about a person that I knew, from the minute I saw him, that it would end in fiery, burning wreckage. There’s something about that magnetic draw that doesn’t really let up. You walk towards it anyway. I wrote ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ about the same person. That’s the before and after: ‘Treacherous’ is the before. ‘I Knew You Were Trouble’ is the after. [‘Treacherous’] is a song that I’m really proud of. It kind of covers ground that I haven’t covered before, that feeling of, even if it’s ill-fated, you want to pursue it to the very end. Even if we’re going down, I want in. Taylor Swift

Also, in I Knew You Were Trouble there is the line “Once upon a time, a few mistakes ago” which indicates it was a relationship awhile ago, not the last one, which Harry was, the last one.

Taylor implied the performance at the Brits was directed at Harry, although his name was never outright spoken. She never said that the song was written for the guy “watching from the sidelines.”

They apparently had a short relationship in March of 2012 but they broke up and that’s when she wrote the song. Then after that they started dating again at the end of the year after the album was released.

They never dated in March 2012. He still like Caroline at that time, and those rumors were all lies started by Perrie Hilton. They only dated from Novemeber-Decemeber 2012.

Just for everyone’s information, I Knew You Were Trouble was written BEFORE!!!!!!!! she even dated Harry. The song was released in October and she started dating Harry a month or so after that. Also, the song isn’t smashing the guy, it’s talking about the fact that her broken heart is partly her fault, she knew the guy was trouble yet she dated him anyway(“Shame on me now”). All of you twelve year old directioners need to sit down and get your information before you get into an argument with someone who knows their facts :)

Oh, thank you!! Finally someone that can see the obvious… Argh… I heard I knew you were trouble BEFORE she even started to date Harry. And unless she’s a psychic who like to have her heart broken, the song wasn’t written for Harry! Maybe now it’s sung and performed for him but defo not written for him.

Ok this is cece again I forgot to say something right so a lot of you are saying stuff like awww she deserved to do what she did cause Harry broke he heart it’s a load of crap considering it was Taylor who was screaming and shouting at Harry saying he couldn’t have pictures with his fans because they weren’t asking her to be in them!! So before you think she’s a little angel think about this and how selfish it is and Harry called it off because he said no that he wasn’t going to say no to his fans because if it wasn’t for them he wouldn’t be where he is!! So you swifties out there does Tay Tay really love you or is it just an act?!?

Hi my name is Cece I am a huge One Direction fan but I’m also a big Taylor Swift fan and I personally think Harry had some guts to say what he said considering the position he was put in, Tay Tay is a really great singer and seems like a nice person to be around but when it comes to boyfriends she needs to get a grip cause if she carrys on having boyfriend after boyfriend then she’s gonna loose fans! She needs to stop writing songs about her ex’s all the time I mean what the hell was the point in dissing Harry at the Grammy’s?!?! I don’t want to hate and I do love Tay Tay but prehaps changing will get her more fans please don’t hate just personal opinion:)xx

Hello. My name is Samantha, and I would like to say that Miss Swift’s song “I Knew You Were Trouble” is nowhere near a hate letter. She was just explaining how she felt after this relantionship with Mr. Styles. Peoplw show their emotions in different ways; this is how she shows hers. I am truly sorry if anyone took this the wrong way, all I am trying to say that Miss Swift was not trying to send hate to anyone at all. No performer should ever do that. Thank you for your time.

Hello
Well to start off, she never said that. So no one believe this…
Please if you could NOT say things that aren’t true, because things like this is causing Taylor to have more hate! Would you like it if someone gossiped about you, but didnt tell the truth? Because they could say something that would make you look bad, like this.
This could make her get hurt. Please don’t, thank you.

I think this song is about John Mayer. She was super heart broken after their relationship. And it’s obviously not about Harry since it came out before they were even dating. The ignorance of some people….

Actually, Taylor’s song “Dear John” is about John Mayer. Considering they broke up a while ago and this song came out right after Taylor and Harry broke up. I really don’t think so.

How could she have written the song about Harry? It was written before they were even together, and Red was released at the very beginning of their little PR stunt. Logic, there is none.

“When we’re little girls, our parents read us storybooks. And we think that Prince Charming’s gonna come along, is gonna have a white cape on, is going to put us on a pedestal. And the bad guy wears black and we always know who that guy is. But what we don’t realize is that, in reality, the bad guy is wearing jeans. And he’s cute. And he’s charming, makes you laugh, and you believe him. You think he’s the good guy. Then, you realize he’s not.”

She said she directed the performance of the song at him, she did not say she wrote the song about him. You always report so negatively about Taylor. Why so ? Bitter much?

If you knew what Harry had done to her, you would understand. IKYWT is a great song and If she thinks he deserved it, then he should receive the punishment kindly, and how come harry hasn’t fired back at her, its because he admits he hurt her. ;D

Do you yourself know what Harry did to her? Most likely not. Taylor’s gone through more guys than most of us can count. She was the issue, and she shouldn’t be blaming it on a teenage boy. Maybe she should learn to pick more mature people to go out with or just don’t date at all. Her choice.
