Jules Stewart, who is currently promoting her new movie K-11, sounds a little bitter about having Kristen Stewart as a daughter. In a little role reversal situation, it’s the mom who’s jealous of the daughter!
Kristen Stewart’s Mom: ‘It’s Extremely Frustrating’
“It’s extremely frustrating for me,” Jules says about being Kristen’s mother in a new interview with the Los Angeles Times. You may not have known, but Jules, 58, has worked on tons of films since coming to the United States from Australia at the age of 16. She has worked for years as a script supervisor and is actually responsible for bringing Kristen into the movie business.
Which must be why she’s so bitter now. “She’s 22 years old and I’m almost 60,” Jules says. “In terms of life experience — hello! — I have it all over her.”
Jeez! Who knew the Stewart family was so competitive?
Jules Stewart: ‘I Have My Own Career’
“To the world, I have no name,” Jules continues. “I have my own career. My own thing going on.”
We don’t think we’re breaking any ground here, but is it that shocking that an actress — one who carried the Twilight saga no less — gets more of a spotlight than a script supervisor? We can see how being “Mama Stew” could get frustrating, but Jules sounds beyond mildly annoyed and actually seems angry at her daughter — not happy for her.

Jules sounds like a shrew! She should be proud of Kristen not trying to compete with her! Good parents always want their kids to do better than they have!
I saw nothing wrong with what she said ( IF she said it at all) she was talking like a proud mother..she seemed to be saying that Kristen has her thing and she has hers..what is wrong with that ? But then we all know how HL tries to turn things around..

@yep. Yep. And you are the next kristen Stewart. Everyone in Hollywood knows it. Yep. Wait. What? Everyone in hollywood knows that Jules is the next Dina Lohan? And you know this b/c you live in Hollywood and know everyone? I have never ever heard this comparison made and there are zero similarities between the families, Sooo… Huh?

Kristen is amazing, I love her but I don’t like her mother. She said that she doesn’t want to be known as kristen’s mother, but she’s using kristen’s name to promote her movie.

How sad for mother to be jealous of her child. A parent always should want better for their children.
