The pregnant Duchess covered her growing bump at Cheltenham Golden Cup race on March 15 in a chic pink Joseph coat. Just two days before, the equally-pregnant Kim K went to a doctor’s appointment in similar light rose-colored outerwear! Whose maternity style do YOU like best?
Kim Kardashian has been having fun with her pregnancy style, and has been flaunting her baby bump in tight-fitting and trendy outfits. Meanwhile, Kate Middleton has been playing it safe with more toned-down, classic styles. However, they both wore similar looks when they selected pink coats to hide their baby bumps!
At the racecourse, the Duchess of Cambridge hid her baby bump underneath a peachy pink wool Joseph coat, which she paired with chic all-brown accessories — a bow-rimmed hat from Lock & Co., her tall suede Rumba boots from Aquatalia by Marvin K and a matching brown clutch bag to complete her polished look.
Kim chose more neutral tones with her light pink overcoat and flowy cream blouse with white jeans, with neutral pointy pumps. The looser-fitting clothes are a nice change from her typical tight and trendy looks, but she still kept it on-trend with layers and high heels.
Kate Middleton’s Traditional Maternity Style
The Duchess of Cambridge has been keeping her baby bump more covered up. In recent outings, she’s been rocking coats in the cold weather, which completely hid her pregnancy figure. When she did stay a little less covered up, she wore a MaxMara wrap dress when she attended a charity event at Hope House on Feb. 19 in West London, but her slender frame barely showed any signs that she was carrying.
Kim Kardashian’s Flashy Fashion
Kim, on the other hand, has been showing off her changing frame, and has been sticking to more non-traditional maternity clothes, and experimenting with her looks. On March 12, she rocked a tight white skirt with a pink blouse, which left little to the imagination.
She also wore a tight black mini dress on March 11, which looked like she was dressed more to hit the club than the nursery! Her dress was super tight on her growing bump, and showed a lot of leg and her black pumps.
The mom-to-be has also been wearing sexy leather leggings a lot, and choosing trendier outfits and dresses for appearances — including the feather dress she rocked at the Top Shop LA store opening (with leather leggings, of course) on Feb. 13.
