One of Hollywood’s happiest couples –or so we thought– have reportedly ended their relationship, leaving many to wonder what could have possibly happened between Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough.

Those close to Ryan and Julianne have confirmed to People that the two have gone their separate ways, taking a break and living apart. The reason… busy work schedules. Do you buy it?

Julianne recently told PARADE Magazine, “It’s a hard thing to do (relationships), especially when you’re so caught up in your work and bettering yourself. I think at the end of the day you have to find a balance with what’s really important.”

On the same day, March 15, that Ryan and Julianne’s split was announced, Julianne took to her Twitter to express some thoughts, including a quote by Ed Sheeran that says, “I can’t tell you the key to success, but the key to failure is trying to please everyone.

The dancer also tweeted a photo that says, “It only gets better”. Was she referring to her break-up with Ryan?

So far, The American Idol host has not tweeted a word about the break up

In late January, Ryan spoke to Chelsea Handler about getting married to Julianne and having kids.

When asked if Ryan had any intention of marrying Julianne, the radio host said, “She’s so beautiful…stunning. She is phenomenal. She’s the best part of every day.”

He is probably a commitment phobe. Julianne is too young and will have no problems in the dating field.

Truly i though that he was gay and she was his cover. I am not surprised that they have ended their …whatever. I really got the impression that since he is so business smart and has so many connections that she stayed with him to help her career now that it appears to have started in the movies, she has met her contractual agreement with him. Just saying.

I thought the same thing! Things seem to click that he is really gay. He is in business with the Kartrashians and all their stupid tricks and no self respecting man would do. He just looks and acts gay too. nothing wrong with that but I feel if you are Ryan you might as well come out now.

I thought that they made a really great couple and were eventually going to get married. Their relationship was not a publicity stunt. They had obvious chemistry if you look at pictures or videos of them together and were really cute. I am actually sad that they decided to break up :(.

So Sorry to hear about the split between Ryan and Julianne Hough….I thought they made a great couple and felt they complimented each other….Was so hoping it would work out for them…;however, better to know that now rather than later….The best to both of them…

Julianne can & will do much better in the “boyfriend” department than good ole Ryan. She is beautiful, talented, and bubbly, whereas Ryan is wealthy & sharp in business, he appears to be a bit controlling & overbearing. I understand that Julianne was not allowed to bring her friends to their home if Ryan was not there. If this information is true then there is a serious problem, and she should have left then. Julianne seems quite outgoing, & Ryan seems quite boring. Making lots of money is not always enough to keep someone around; she will find someone more her type–Ryan was not that man!

She is a wonderful, beautiful young woman with many talents.
He is too boring for her and too business, not fun.
She should date somebody fun and loving.

It’s obvious what happened here…Their PR contract was up. Why PR you ask? Well, I’m going to tell you. She’s from a strict Mormon family so she wanted to help her career and seem ‘normal’ by having a live in-relationship because Hollywood is not a place for virgins, and he…well, he’s gay so their partnerhip worked perfectly. Live together, act like a couple, but never have to worry about sex. It’s brilliant actually – Closeted gay men and Mormon women in show business should get together like this more often.

Hi Well, I believe you hit the nail right on the head. Seacrest may think he’s in the closet, but he is so obviously un-straight that anyone’s gaydar can spot it without even making an effort. This lovely woman may have enjoyed his company or the material things he could offer her, but as a person with husband potential, Ryan just doesn’t seem a great choice for her.
