The First Lady looks perfectly poised and beautiful in blue, wearing a dress right out of her closet while gracing the cover of the fashion mag for the second time! Get your first look at the pretty pics, (which even include her hubby!), right here!
The past couple of months rumors swirled about Michelle Obama‘s Vogue cover — in fact, everything from what she would be wearing to when the shoot would debut was under much speculation. Now that the April 2013 issue has been released, I think everyone can agree that the fashionable First Lady looks fantastic! The 49-year-old sports her new bangs on the cover while showing off a blue and purple sheath by one of her fave designers, Reed Krakoff. The sensible and stylish First Lady wore a dress right out of her very own closet at the White House — how cool is that?
Michelle never misses an opportunity to flaunt her toned arms, and her second Vogue cover is no exception! Shot by Annie Leibovitz, Michelle also shows off a Michael Kors ball skirt and sweater. Michelle’s style is definitely something that sets her apart from your average First Lady — and she isn’t afraid to talk fashion! “If you’re comfortable in your clothes it’s easy to connect with people and make them feel comfortable as well,” Michelle tells the mag. It looks like bare shoulders definitely define comfort for the fashionable First Lady!
Considering she’s a pro at mixing attainable brands with high-fashion frocks and isn’t above wearing one of her fave get-ups more than once it’s no surprise that her style always seems to be the center of attention, although she also opened up about her family life and staying grounded in the White House.
For Michelle’s first cover, (back in March 2009), her designer of choice was Jason Wu. While he’s still one of her go-to designers, (who could forget her vibrant red dress for the Inaugural Ball?), on this occasion she took her look in a different direction.

Some of her still photos are fine, there are ways to make people look much thinner and more elegant that they are in real life. MO’s problem is her hunched over shoulders and cloddy walk. Not to mention the fact that her dear ol’ hubby is ruining this country.
