The ‘Teen Mom 2′ star and her hubby, who wed in a quick courthouse ceremony, wanted to have a big wedding celebration for all of their friends and family — but they pushed back the date! Is there trouble in paradise?
Kailyn Lowry has been so excited about her upcoming wedding with husband Javi Marroquin, especially since it will be a big celebration in front of all of their loved ones after they tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony — but it looks like the Teen Mom 2 star will have to wait for her big day!
Even though the fourth season of Teen Mom 2 shows Javi and Kailyn getting into a physical altercation, the upcoming wedding being pushed back has nothing to do with relationship drama.
“Looks like we’ll be pushing the wedding back an entire year,” Kailyn tweeted on March 12. “Just not in our budget this year like we planned. Taxes.”
In fact, it looks like Kailyn is being the responsible mom she always is on Teen Mom 2 — she’s putting her son and her finances before what she wants right now. That just gives Kail and Javi more time to plan for their big day!
Kailyn Lowry Planning Her Dream Wedding To Javi Marroquin
Kailyn has been wedding dress shopping at Kleinfeld in New York City — although she won’t be appearing on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress – and want to make their big day extra special since their first wedding was so small and fast. They tied the knot before Javi left for Air Force basic training.
But as of March 5, they have been married for six months — and are still going strong!

@akimp, regardless of your feelings for the show, I think that comment was completely ignorant and uncalled for. They had a courthouse wedding before he left for the Air Force. When the solider leaves for basic training, they recommend they take care of all family matters before entering so the family can be taken care of while they are gone. Any woman (or man for that matter) who is willing to go through this deserves a real “wedding” afterwards, regardless of whether or not they are perfect. Sure, it’s not a real wedding, but vows are typically renewed and a party like a wedding is held.
