Justin Bieber Ruining His Image With New Twitter Rant

Justin took to Twitter on March 15 to tell his fans that he’s not going to rehab in a 300 word rant and now a top PR expert and crisis manager tells HollywoodLife.com why that was the wrong move for the Biebs.

Justin Bieber better stop venting on social media, because according to expert Howard Bragman of Reputation.com and R. Couri Hay, this could cause him to lose fans, endorsement deals and affect his album sales. Why? Read on to find out!

Why Justin’s Making Himself Look Worse

Vice Chairman of Reputation.com Howard made a good point when he EXCLUSIVELY told HollywoodLife.com that by talking about rumors of rehab just made him look bad.

“It’s sorry of ironic, sort of bizarre because this hasn’t been something that’s been out there,” Howard said of Justin’s claim that the press has been talking about him going to rehab. He’s only calling attention to this, opposed to putting it to bed. He should know by now, that every time he says something, there’s a media storm because of it.”

Additionally, Howard does believe that he needs guidance.

“Who’s advising this kid? Where are his agent, his managers, his publicists who are there to tell him to STFU,” Howard said.

His advice to Justin? “He’s got to develop the rep to being a celeb. Keep your eyes on the prize, look at the big picture, develop a thick skin, and don’t read all the crap about you. Live your life, get some rest, and focus on your career!”

We spoke with Couri, who tells us that Justin is making a massive mistake in taking to social media to explain himself, when there’s not necessarily anything to explain.

“His image is out of control, he should shut up and stop instagraming. It could keep parents from buying his music and tweeting. He’ll lose endorsements. If he wants to control his image, where he won’t lose endorsements, or teen movie deals, he needs to stop.”

But Couri also tells us that if Justin But if he’s trying to be a bad boy, then he’s on the right path.

“Does he want to be a bad boy or keep that good guy image he worked so hard to get?” Couri tells us. “Justin is at a fork in the road and he is choosing rebellion. If he’s trying to connect and make everyone his friend, then being honest, open and confessing is like group therapy. He’s involving all of his millions of fans in group therapy. If you don’t want to fuel the fire you ignore it and don’t comment.

Justin’s Rant After Reports He’s Headed To Rehab

This is what Justin wrote on Instagram after there was a blind item written that he may go to rehab.

“Everyone in my team has been telling me, ‘keep the press happy’ but I’m tired of all the countless lies in the press right now. Saying I’m going to rehab and how my family is disappointed in me. My family is beyond proud, and nothing’s been said by them, my grandparents wouldn’t know how to reach to press even [if] they did want to so that was a lie and rehab cmon. If Anyone believes I need rehab that’s their own stupidity lol I’m 19 with 5 number one albums, 19 and I’ve seen the whole world. 19 and I’ve accomplished more than I could’ve ever dreamed of. I’m 19 and it must be scary to some people to think that this is just the beginning. I know my talent level and I know I got my head on straight. I know who I am and I know who I’m not My [message] is to to believe. My albums could be about anything but my messages have been to never say never and believe, not to believe in me, but to believe in yourself .. I honestly don’t care if you don’t believe in me because I believe in me, and look where that’s gotten me so far..I’m writing this with a smile on my face and love in my heart. Letting you know first hand how I feel rather than have these story linger. I’m a good person with a big heart. And don’t think I deserve all of this negative press. I’ve worked my a** off to get where I am and my hard work doesn’t stop here. People on facebook are now sending forth a photo shop picture (like the one above) only he is dresses as an infant! Some people really do not have any dignity! I say leave the guy alone! He’s going through a rough patch and all these pompous,idiotic, vulgar people in the world are not making it any easier! His personal life affairs are none of the public’s’ concern, and whoever that person was the said something to him, deserves to get punched in the face! I agree that in the circumstances, I would have done the same thing. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY has a right to say something in those matters to him!

while everyone is so interested in how hard his life is spare a thought for my daughter who’s one and only chance to meet her idol was ruined by his fan club Bieber Fever, they emailed the confirmation to the wrong email, not the one on her entry form and she found out a day later after his concert was over, i have contacted every one i can think of and not one reply from any of them, not even a sorry. but why should they she is just one person out of god knows how many others that are complaining about how bieberfever are not replying to any complaints.

Actually this was the original message JB apologized for the comment on Lindsey and then removed and changed it. The updated version is the one on Instagram.

I don’t see anything wrong with what Justin said. I would do the same to defend myself. The press makes up lies all the time, and ya it would piss anyone off. For a kid his age Justin has worked very hard to be where he is today. Lets not forget all the good he has done for people and remember he is a teenager, we were one once.

Bragging about how much money you have and how much you’ve done is not defending yourself; it’s ranting. He makes it sound like he has too much money to go to rehab, which is ridiculous.
