“There are so many young boys in Hollywood up for this role,” he said with a smirk — like he says anything without a smirk. “I think they have a very big job a head of them casting this role. I can’t say anything other than it’s a very interesting story, and whoever plays that role is going to have a lot of fun [come] rehearsal time.”
Andy also asked Ian if he’s single, to which he tentatively replied,” I would not say that’s the case.” (Duh!)

If Ian does snag the coveted lead role in Fifty Shades — and we’re really hoping he does — he could always get a few sex-scene tips from Nina Dobrev‘s mom! Ian’s Vampire Diaries co-star recently told Conan O’Brien that her mom comes to set and offers her pointers to make Elena’s love scenes even hotter.
“When I come off set … she starts giving me notes,” Nina awkwardly recalled. “‘Arch your back more. It’ll look sexier if you arch your back.’ We’re close.”
