Sean Lowe has a dark side! The Southern gentleman may be all smiles and kisses on The Bachelor, but in his revealing new interview he admits that he did mislead AshLee Frazier and Linsay Yenter by telling them both they had a “future” with him. Is Sean a liar?
Sean Lowe Mislead Women On ‘The Bachelor’
Unless you have been living under a rock, everyone knows that Sean and Catherine Giudici got engaged on the March 11 finale of the hit show, and they are happier than ever! But before Sean made his decision, he sent home a scorned AshLee after the fantasy suite dates, and she made a pretty scandalous accusation when she called him a “liar” at the Women Tell All special.
The audience was shocked when AshLee said that Sean told her “he had no feelings for the two other women,” and Sean very unconvincingly denied it. In a new interview, he reveals the truth.
“I was flabbergasted! That statement is ridiculous and clearly not true,” said Sean to PEOPLE. “She might have misconstrued something I said. Maybe that’s what her brain took in, but I didn’t say that.”
Sean may have slammed that rumor, but he does admit to leading on the women, as he told both AshLee and Lindsay that he had a future with them both.
“There comes a point when you have to talk about the future, especially with the final three. Yeah, I’m going to talk to AshLee about where she might live, and I’ll talk with Lindsay about what kind of career she could pursue in Dallas. Those are just the conversations you have to have. It made me empathize a lot more with [his Bachelorette ex] Emily Maynard.”
Uh-oh Sean! Let’s hope AshLee finds some vindication with his admittance.

I think your phrase “Sean admits to misleading” the ladies is inaccurate. What he said is that the talked about what their futures might look like (if they were together). He explained how that was a mindset he took — of course, he would need to picture (and the women would also need to picture) what life would be like as a couple / married. They needed to figure out if they were destined for marriage.
I will be pretty sure I’ve check this out very same type of declaration somewhere else, it needs to be gaining interest while using people.

I also feel that Sean lead Lindsay on in a terrible way on a constant basis. How could she not think he would pick her after that???? Very wrong and dishonest. Being a Christian man, why would he do this? I would not have gone on the show if I were told to have that poker face and down right lie. I too thought he said the same thing to every girl, making her certainly think she was the one, practically on every date, in the final episodes. I just don’t get it. Seems like dirty pool. Not such a nice guy. I wonder what Catherine thinks of Sean after viewing the show back. He must seem like a total player. He did to me. Do not have any respect for him after he lead so many on. Terrrible.

From the very beginning, Lindsay threw herself at Sean. Earlier than all the other ladies, she was the one saying ”I love you” to Sean,’ and often. But it wasn’t love. It seemed like Lindsay was desperate to find love and security (because of her background). I think she would have been too needy for Sean. Catherine was the one for Sean (I have found the Filipino people in general to be very sweet, loving and humble) albeit I think it would have worked out great with Ashley too.

I think Ashlee was Sean’s choice but something happened to cause him to change his mind just before the final rosé ceremony. I think TPTB convinced him Ashley had to many emotional problems and wouldn’t be any fun. TPTB wanted the shock effect of Ashlee leaving after she was so sure she would be chosen. Chris did not come out the way he usually does and just left everything in confusion, to play out.
In my opinion, Ashlee was the mature one on the show and really cared for who she thought Sean was.

On the date in Thailand, Sean told Lindsay he couldn’t wait to buy a little house for them to live in?? I believe. If that isn’t a down right lie, I don’t know what is. He probably had is mind made up and to say something like that is beyond making for a good show! This bachelor was just out for revenge on someone who told him he wasn’t good enough for her in the last season of the Bachorlette. He was making rude comments about that bachorlette as late as January 25,2013. This show really is not worth watching, unless of course you like arrogant, lying self absorbed men. Then go for it!!

I agree, no one really knows what was said that night but to be honest I dont think he would have said he didnt have feelings for the other two girls. There is absolutley nothing wrong with talking about the future.. its the bachelor for heavens sake! Theres plenty of things wrong with this show in finding love but i dont think sean did anything wrong! He didnt mislead any of the girls, im sure he fell in love with a lot of the girls that came closer to the end, but he needed to pick the girl that he could best see as a wife for him. sean is a very nice guy and if you dont agree with the show then dont watch it.

Why do people get angry? When a girl signs up for the Bachelor, they should expect to get this to happen. And yes when it comes to the final few, things get deeper and its only fitting to start talking about the future. Sean didn’t know for sure who he was going to pick until the end. Stop complaining and understand this is part of the show. Noone was dragged to take part. And the writer is so anti-Sean to the extent that she now writes lies to paint a bad picture, just because he didn’t pick Lindsay – move on people!

Unfortunately, that is the “dark side” of the being the Bachelor/ette. It’s your job to produce ratings for the show and you don’t get ratings without drama. AshLee and Lindsay put themselves out there and made it easy for Sean to keep them around. They were the pursuers and Sean was the pursuee. Ctherine on the otherhand lured Sean just enough to garner his interest and then increasingly reciprocated his increasing affections. That’s how the show works. It sucks to be Lindsay and AshLee but they chose to go on the show and their date cards won’t be empty for long.

That is the bachelor show for you…….you start with 25 women and then the last 4 may have a future with him as they all going home for intro to the parents but at the end of the day only 1 win and that is the fact……4 have a future, 1 win!! MB

Has everyone forgotten Sean was planning to send Catherine home after the home date? To that point, he did not have any special feelings for her. The incident with Des’s brother threw Des under the bus. Sean admitted even after the bachelor ended that sending Des home may have been a mistake. The final three would have been Des, Lindsey and Ashlee. The love of his life would not have even been at the proposal. Chris said he was trying to help Sean decide between the two girls the morning of the proposal. Sean sent home the girl he would have chosen and was so undecided with the two left, he asked his family to help him decide.
I noticed during the show, Sean would change his mind on the spur of the moment. A person who doesn’t think things through before making a decision, often has things come back and bite him in the ares. I think that is what has happened here. He is physically attracted to Catherine and seemed to have fun with her on the show but, that is not love. I think they are trying to last until he leaves DWTS.
