Samsung Galaxy hosted a VIP after party for the premiere of Jared Leto’s new documentary, “Artifact” which chronicles the making of 30 Seconds to Mars album, This is War and the band’s battle against record label EMI. Director Bartholomew Cubbins, AKA Jared Leto and producer Emma Ludbrook hosted friends for an intimate cocktail party celebrating the film’s premiere!
The party at Swift’s Attic in Austin was packed with friends, including actor Balthazar Getty, musician Kenna and members of the bands, Lost Alone and Surfer Blood. Jared, looking dapper in his Burberry trench coat and
t-shirt with his director pseudonym, Bartholomew Cubbins, was in good spirits after the well-received premiere at SXSW earlier in the evening.
Throughout the party, guests were taking photos on Jared’s favorite Samsung product, the Galaxy Camera; guests who used Samsung’s #TheNextBigThing hashtag had their photo printed onsite. Throughout SXSW, Samsung Mobile USA’s presence in Austin has extended beyond the Samsung Galaxy Experience (open from 12-6 daily) and has featured Samsung TecTiles placed throughout the city rewarding all NFC-enabled Galaxy devices (full device list here: http://goo.gl/O6iSc ) free offers from local businesses with a simple tap.
Galaxy owners can tweet #PowerOn to @SamsungMobileUS for a delivery of a brand new fully-charged battery via a bike messenger. Galaxy owners with NFC-enabled devices and SXSW Platinum and Music badge holders will have chances to see exclusive performances from Prince and A Tribe Called Quest on Saturday, March 16th. Just another awesome Samsung event! Can they do no wrong?
