It may be hard for Karrueche Tran to really move on from ex Chris Brown. As the aspiring model has a new male companion in her life, J. Ryan La Cour, she’s made him aware of her true feelings toward Chris.

“He’s aware of Karrueche and Chris’ relationship and knows that she adores him,” a source close to Karrueche, 24, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “But seeing as how they’re friends, it shouldn’t bother him too much.”

Why Chris Will Forever Be In Karrueche’s Life

“Chris will be in her life, there’s no way around that. They are business partners, friends and used to be together,” the source adds. “But with all that, if Ryan stays nice to her and they both want to go to that next level, then they should be cool.”

Speaking of Mr. La Cour, our source says nothing but great things about the young man, who works as a self-employed PR rep.

“Ryan is nice, he treats her well and respects her,” the source says, adding, “but as far as I know, they’re just friends.”
