Justin Bieber had a distressing week in the UK where he was performing back-to-back shows at the O2 arena — including a frightening health scare where he was hospitalized after nearly collapsing on stage, and threatening to beat up a photographer — but now, the Beauty and a Beat singer has canceled an upcoming show in Portugal.

Justin was scheduled to perform two shows at the Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon, Portugal on March 11 and March 12 — but the superstar had to cancel his March 12 performance, according to the venue’s website.

“Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber was forced to cancel the second performance in Portugal, March 12,” the translated statement posted to the site reads, according to TMZ.

“The Canadian singer is eager to play for the Portuguese fans on March 11. Holders of tickets valid for March 12 should contact the respective place of purchase to receive a refund within 30 days of the date of the scheduled concert, which ends April 11,” the statement continues.

Justin Bieber’s Concert Dropped For Low Ticket Sales?

Even though Justin had a disastrous week in the UK for his concert at the O2 arena, a source tells TMZ the concert was cancelled because of “business decisions.” The ticket sales were reportedly “good” — more than 60 percent, but not good enough for the venue.

Of course Scooter Braun would say it was “logistical problems”. He would never admit Bieber couldn’t sell out a second show at a venue that only holds about 15,000 people. Newspapers in Portugal, as well as commentors from Portugal, are saying the second show didn’t come close to selling out. We’ll see if the trend continues.

Sources at the arena are saying that it was the ARENA that had to cancel the show, not Justin.
Even if it was Justin, he would never cancel a show if it wasn’t for a serious issue, there has to be something going on and he’s not just doing it because he’s mean or lazy.
When I was going to see Rihanna one and a half years ago she canceled 30 minutes before the show after being hospitalized because she had been drinking too much alcohol, did I see that making any headlines? No, because she ain’t no Justin Bieber who the press loves to pick on.

The so called “serious” reason is because people have had enough and no one is buying tickets to see him any more..also remember lots of his tickets are paid for by parents – as he only appeals to toddlers and children and after reading about his London antics they’re not going to risk their hard earned cash…

Guide to the misinformed: The concert was not canceled by Justin but by his management due to union and logistical problems and had nothing to do with any problem by Justin or poor ticket sales as falsely reported in an English site.
