Well, whatever. I saw the movies and liked them very much. I read, or I should say skimmed the books. I basically zipped through the pages, looking for info to fill in the things about which I had questions. Her writing just doesn’t appeal to me. Again, whatever. To each his own.

Let the numbers speak for themselves. Obviously there are a lot of people through out the world that wanted a series of movies without vulgarity, nudity, profanity and violence. A lot of people who like seeing old fashion love stories that include forbidden love, conflict and resolution. Were they Oscar calaber movies who knows. Were they movies demanded, supported and loved by the average person you bet!! So is this another group like the Razzi people. I am glad I don’t let anyone influence my decisions and millions of others feel the same way. Thank you actors and full crew of the Twilight Series for all the enjoyment you gave us. And to Stephanie for writing such engaging characters and storyline that pulled us all in. Sad to know it is over.

@ Katey: I too loved the books – not so much what was inflicted on us by the scripts for the movies. I didn’t even recognize the character Bella, why was that necessary?

Nah, the movies left me lacking what I so loved about the books.

Wow! well Rob it looks in this picture, I like the contrast of his gold eyes with its almost bluish skin, and his expression of uncertainty and anger, wow!

I’m a fan of all the Twilight films but I must have a sense a humor since I laughed at this stupid video. In my opinion the films were perfectly casted and very entertaining. I suspect that many of the Twilight saga critics are men whose idea of romance in movies is of the XXX rated variety instead of PG rated romantic films. Movies are made for the audience not for the critics.

I didn’t watch the video, but I definitely agree with the comments quoted from it. I loved the book series and I anxiously waited to hear about casting for the movies. When I found it would star Robert Pattison and Kristen Stewart, I immediately knew I would be disappointed. Robert Pattinson is outrageously ugly. From the beginning I thought it looked like someone beat his face in with a shovel. I was hoping they’d cast Henry Cavill, Stephenie Meyer’s original choice, but the studio decided he was too old. I must admit, though, that the biggest reason why I wanted Cavill cast in the role is because my husband is the slightly taller (6’3″), leaner, younger version of him. As for Kirsten Stewart: I never liked her in any of the movies she’s been in. She’s a terrible “actor”. She plays herself in every single one. She always seems awkward with a never-ending case of verbal constipation. When the first movie released, my husband (boyfriend at the time) surprised me with tickets to the midnight showing. Within 15 minutes, I wanted to leave. THAT’S how bad it was. Each movie seemed to get progressively better though. I actually really liked New Moon and Eclipse – probably because they featured yummy Taylor Lautner, whose acting is surprisingly good. He made me see the story from Jacob’s perspective. I figured Breaking Dawn would be amazing by the trend the other movies had taken, but Breaking Dawn Part I was a huge disappoint. Kristen Stewart’s acting had actually improved in Eclipse (she spoke smoothly and not like she had to choke every word out). I thought it’d carry into Breaking Dawn Part I, but it didn’t. The movie was also slow and boring. Part II was an improvement, but not by much. I did really enjoy the ending though – they did an excellent job of incorporating action where there wasn’t any without changing the story AND the credits did a beautiful job of wrapping up the series. I blame the crappy-ness of the series on Catherine Hardwicke.

Finally HL posted a clip and story about Twilight & it’s stars that is actually worth watching!!! We all know the Twihards have no sense of humor but this was hilarious. As far as laughing all the way to the bank don’t forget it is YOUR money in THEIR bank (can you pay your rent this month??).

Public opinion is wrong then ? And ‘shovel face’ is filming five films this year, all with highly respected directors. Methinks there is a bit of envy here !

Jo, I said from the start somebody in Hollywood hates Rob and Kristen. I believe they are jealous of those two. They have made so much money that the Hollywood People can’t stand it!
I believe they earned it! I personally loved all the movies. I think Hollywood should just suck it up and SHUT up!

Hahaha, the video is so funny!! I have not laugh this hard in days!! I didnt notice in BD1 that Kristen couldnt manage tu put toothpaste in the toothbrush and that the director left the scene like that, and honestly, despite Im Robs fan, his acting wasnt as good as on other movies. Every character always use the same facial expresion through the 5 movies!!
Anyway, Im still buying the BD2 DVD just the that the complete series and Rob, I still like you!!
