Justin Bieber gave his fans in London’s O2 Arena quite a fright during his Mar. 7 show when he appeared to collapse after having breathing problems, but he proved just why he’s the superstar he is when he returned to the stage against medical advice to give the crowd the full show they came for!

Justin Bieber Collapses On Stage, Fans Can’t Belieb Their Eyes

Concert attendee Lauren O’Dell spoke with E! News about the dramatic moment, saying the Biebs, 19, left the stage during “Beauty and the Beat”. She said that the first clue that someone was wrong with the singer was when he laid down on the stairs. “We all thought he was joking around,” she says. His DJ, DJ Tay James, was left to improvise while Justin was being checked out by EMTs backstage.

“We were really worried,” Lauren said. “The deejay songs were going out for a while. We were wondering if something [more serious] happened.”

The Beibs Returns To Honor His Commitment

Though he was advised to cancel the rest of the show, Justin insisted that he return to the stage. Lauren says that, when he did, the crowd erupted in praise for their idol. “The fans were so supportive and cheering him on and chanting his name,” she said. “He came back on and finished with ‘Believe,’ ‘Boyfriend’ and ‘Baby,’ but struggled with energy.”

She added that, when he returned, Justin was “really apologetic.” “He said he was really disappointed and he wanted to give the best performance,” she said, and, even thought he wasn’t supposed to dance anymore, he did and “was still amazing.”

Justin Tweets His Fans After Rushing To Hospital

As previously reported, Justin was taken to a nearby hospital immediately after the show. There hasn’t been an update on his condition as of press time, but he did tweet, “getting better. thanks for everyone pulling me thru tonight. best fans in the world. figuring out what happened. thanks for the love.”
