Half of the Top 20 girls and guys had their dreams crushed on the March 7 episode of ‘American Idol’ — did YOUR favorites make it through? Vote below!

Almost 39 million votes determined the Top 10 finalists, all of whom will be on the Idol tour this summer. Judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj, Keith Urban and Randy Jackson were allowed to sit back and relax tonight. See who made it to the Top 10 below!

The Top 5 Guys Are Revealed

Paul Jolley couldn’t believe his ears! “I thought you were playing a trick on me!” he told Ryan Seacrest.

Burnell Taylor – he got another standing ovation after his victory song! “It means everything,” to be in the Top 10, Burnell said.

Curtis Finch Jr. audibly gasped when his name was called! Was anyone really shocked? Don’t think so!

Devon Velez – “I’m really proud of you. You have been so consistently good. I think you connect to a lot of Spanish-speaking people. It works well for you,” Nicki said.

Lazaro Arbos seemed terrified to sing his victory song but luckily the backing band helped him out.

The Top 5 Girls Are Revealed

Janelle Arthur – After auditioning for three seasons, she finally made it! Third time is the charm!

Candice Glover did a cute little victory dance before her victory song! They judges gave her a standing ovation before AND after she sang!

Angie Miller held back tears before she went on stage. No one was surprised by this pick!

Amber Holbomb rocked the stage like a freakin’ champ during her victory song!

Kree Harrison was so relieved to make it through and it showed in her flawless performance.

We’re Sad To Say Goodbye

I think nerves got the best of Vincent Powell. We also were sad to see Breanna Steer and Aubrey Cleland leave.

It Was Their Time To Go

I had no hard feelings whatsoever saying bye, bye to Zoanette Johnson and Charlie Askew.

Angela is not the best singer among the remaining 5 girls. In fact, the other 4 girls are all better singers. I like Angela but I’m just being honest. If this competition was based on singing alone (not looks, race, popularity, etc) then Candice would win. She is clearly the best singer in the competition although Amber and Burnell are my personal favs.
