Now that Taylor is single she’s starting fresh and she’s sold her house that she bought next to her ex, ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy last August. Do you think this is a good move for Taylor?
Taylor Swift isn’t becoming a Kennedy anytime soon. The 23-year-old has reportedly just sold her $4.8 million dollar home in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, that was located right next door to the famous Kennedy compound, where her ex-boyfriend Conor Kennedy spends his summers. She even made $1 million off the sale — smart lady!
Taylor Sells Her House Next To Conor
Taylor sold the stunning estate for $5.6 to a couple who had always loved the home. Even though Taylor bought the property seven months ago and didn’t spend much time in it, she did reportedly renovate the bathrooms.
The real estate agent Bob Kinlin who sold the home said: “I never physically met her, but she has obviously an entourage of people that represent her.”
The house was originally on the market for $13.5 million but never sold at that price. When Taylor bought the house she was dating Conor but they broke up after only dating for three months.
Taylor Claims She Doesn’t Buy Houses Near The Guys She Dates
Taylor is Vanity Fair’s April cover girl and she told the magazine: “People say that about me, that I apparently buy houses near every boy I like — that’s a thing that I apparently do,” she says. “If I like you I will apparently buy up the real estate market just to freak you out so you leave me. One of these things I say to myself to calm myself down when I feel like it’s all too much … If there’s a pregnancy rumor, people will find out it’s not true when you wind up not being pregnant, like nine months from now, and if there’s a house rumor, they’ll find out it’s not true when you are actively not ever spotted at that house.”
But she did buy the home and a source says it was because it was a good real estate investment.

Honestly, I’m not a Taylor Swift fan by any stretch, but if you’re smart enough to buy a house under market, give it heavy pub by insinuating you’re A) a big star (and thereby increasing its desirability), and B) buying prime real estate next to a Kennedy compound, and then flip it for a 20% gain a few months later, I’d do it too. In short, don’t hate the chick for playing the game.
