Taylor, at just 23, you’ve dated two of music’s most notorious playboys: Harry and John Mayer. And after the One Direction hunk let you down by allegedly making out with another girl while you were dating, as you authorized a friend to reveal to Vanity Fair, it’s time for you to consider dating someone with a bit of a tamer reputation!

And it seems you have. As a source told PEOPLE, “They spent some time together before and after she dated Harry Styles. Around Grammy time, things went beyond just friends.” Taylor, this is great!

Ed, 22, is a talented songwriter who you already had a great friendship with after writing the song “Everything Has Changed” together for your most recent album, Red. Plus, he doesn’t come with the reputation as a womanizer!

T.Swift — Ed’s Different From The Other Guys

Taylor — Ed has just the right amount of charming, self-effacing humor that puts him in a different league than the other guys you’ve dated. Back in December of 2012, he even joked that he wasn’t your type, telling The Sun, “If you look at all the dudes she’s dated, they’re all tall, brown hair, brown eyes, very attractive and all the girls scream for them. I’m chubby, ginger with blue eyes.”

The other men you’ve dated have always given off the vibe that they think quite highly of themselves. Maybe that’s why you couldn’t find the love connection you were hoping for. But Ed’s humble nature suggests that he’s more mature — and could be just the sort of guy you’re looking for.

I believe she shouldn’t be dating anyone right now. She just got out of a relationship. And the she goes for Ed! Taylor Swift, you can date anyone and I wont care. But you chose Ed. Ed is Harrys second closest friend (One Direction being 1st) and you dating him after Harry? I wonder who will be after Ed!

Definitely not. Maybe in a few years but not now. She’s just gotten out of a relationship and she could just be using Ed for attention. As someone said before, she wants him too much. It might be good for her (which is debatable), but it certainly won’t be good for Ed. Ed deserves someone who he is sure will be fully committed to him. Her history of guys hasn’t been too well and she really needs to take a break from dating. She can’t know someone if she doesn’t fully know herself.

Saying they hooked up at the Grammys….total bull! But that being said I do see when they are both around 30 her ending up with him. But for now she needs him as a friend and a writing partner… this may sound funny but she likes him to much to date him now. You can see how much they admire, and respect each other. The way she has been vilified by you and basicly everyone she is not going to date for a while. Its sad how I read dozens of artices a day of people’s analysis of her life using gossip that has been proven false. But is still quoted as truth. The hacks who write for you use vile gossip to write storys about her.Then you write somthing like this like you care about her. I will just make one little observation, most of the nice young women who work at my office belong to J-date or christian mingle.Guess what they all date more guys than Taylor and none of them are ever called slut or whore
