Kristen’s mom Jules says she raised her kids to be more like adults than children, and to that it’s OK to fail! Do YOU think she’s talking about Kristen’s affair with Rupert Sanders?

Kristen Stewart can credit her mom Jules Stewart for teaching her that it’s OK to fail, and perhaps that’s why the young actress has admitted to major mistakes in her life — namely, having an affair with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. But Jules revealed in a new interview that she has also taught them to take risks — do you think Kristen should be more fearless when it comes to saving her relationship with Robert Pattinson?

“Well I tried to raise my kids…I didn’t raise then to be children, I raised them to be adults,” Jules told SuicideGirls, an alternative lifestyle website, in a new interview.

“That is a concept that might be lost on a lot of people. I also tried to make them understand that it’s OK to make mistakes, so don’t be afraid to have a go at doing something different. And in that vein of ‘I’m interested in this, let’s try it, let’s see what happens,’ my kids have always been the first ones on the line ready to have a go at something different. And it’s OK to fail, because that’s how you learn, when you fail.’”

Kristen Getting Support From Mom & Friends

As HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Kristen has been leaning on her friends while Rob has been filming Rover in Australia. On March 3, she spent time with Rob’s good friend Marcus Foster who has been in Los Angeles for some concerts.

“Kristen is really missing Rob. Regardless of their ‘romantic’ relationship, they are still really good friends. That is something that won’t change,” a friend close to Kristen tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. “Kristen is not ready to say goodbye to this relationship and will do whatever it takes to make it work.”

“She is just being patient and spending a lot of time with her mom. Her mom has been very supportive and just keeps encouraging her to be true to herself and to keep things simple,” the friend added.
