A source close to the former Disney princess tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the Biebs tried to get in contact with Selena, but she didn’t want anything to do with cheering him up! “Justin texted Selena about how depressed he was about his birthday party being a disaster, but she just ignored him,” the insider tells us. “She’s been laughing about his ridiculous outfits and thinks he’s just being needy. She’s moving on and having fun with all of her friends and family — she doesn’t have time for him.”

The singer took to Twitter the following day to explain his tardiness and apologize to his fans. ““I was 40 min late to stage. there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset. However it was great show and Im proud of that and tonight we will run on time and look forward to putting on an amazing show for everyone in attendance.”
