Another twist develops in Jodi’s murder trial as we now learn that the admitted killer sent boyfriend Travis Alexander’s grandmother flowers after she brutally killed him. Read on for details.

If you thought this case couldn’t get any weirder, it just did. On Mar. 5, Jodi Arias told the court she sent flowers to slain ex-boyfriend Travis Alexanders grandmother after she brutally killed him, suggesting it was the appropriate thing to do.

Jodi’s been testifying for weeks and, on Mar. 5, she told the court Travis only introduced her to his grandmother, She further says it would have been “worse” not to send her a gift, and that sentiment, as scary and twisted as it sounds, came as a complete shock to those who were in the courtroom when the words came out of the 32-year-old woman’s mouth.

The Twists And Turns Of The Trial

The trial has been a dramatic one to say the least and includes so many nasty components that include graphic sexual content and at least three different stories of how Jodi explained Travis’ death.

Jodi, who admits to taking Travis’ life back on June 4, 2008, is facing the ultimate punishment, the death penalty, in an Arizona court after charged with first degree murder.

The details of how Travis, 30, died are devastating. He was stabbed 27 times, his throat completely slit and if that wasn’t enough, he was even shot in the face.

Jodi Arias Tries To Escape Death Penalty

As previously reported, back on Feb. 25, Jodi took the stand and said she’s innocent of the first degree murder charge she’s facing, citing self-defense in a desperate attempt to avoid the death penalty.

Sound off, HollywoodLifers. Can this case get any worse?

Ok look I really dont get ppl trying to escape a death penalty. given a choice of life in prison…a small cell, bad food, the same sex surrounding you, no privacy and utter hell vs a needle to just die?seems logical and easy way out is the death penalty
