‘Iron Man 3′ hits theaters May 3! Watch the brand-new trailer and give us your review.
“Do you want an empty life, or a meaningful death?” That’s the super-fun question posed in the just-released theatrical trailer for Iron Man 3, which gives us our first full look at the third installment in Robert Downey Jr.‘s robo-suited thrillogy.
The trailer also gives us an extended look at Ben Kingsley as über villain The Mandarin, including the lengths he’s willing to go to destroy his enemies.
Meanwhile, Tony Stark is really stressed out. He can’t sleep, he can’t fight — he can barely even fire off those zippy one-liners he’s become so famous for. More than anything, he wants to protect Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow), who appears in her bra for some reason.

0:20 — Tony star faces his greatest enemy yet: insomnia!
0:40 — EXPLOSION!
0:47 — “You’ll… neverrrr… see… meeeee… coming.” (Is this guy having a stroke?)
0:51 — This is why I don’t fly. (Bye, falling people!)
1:01 — Oh my God, it’s 2013. Why is that reporter carrying a tiny little flip phone?
1:17 — “Today is the last day of what’s left of your miserable life.” (The Mandarin should speak at graduations.)
1:25 — MORE EXPLOSIONS!
1:43 — “Do you want en empty life, or a meaningful death?” (Who invited The Mandarin to our slumber party? Truth or Dare isn’t supposed to be this heavy.)
1:48 — EXPLOSION #3!
