Britney Spears may have ended her engagement to Jason Trawick in 2013, but little sister Jamie Lynn Spears is having more luck in the new year. Her boyfriend of three years, Jamie Watson, proposed with a beautiful diamond ring. As Jamie Lynn noted on Instagram on March 2, “he did good!”

Jamie Lynn, 21, first alerted fans of her happy news when she posted a pic of the couple, which was captioned “Guesssss what??????” She also shared a close-up photo of the engagement ring Jamie, 30, got her, writing alongside it, “:) #hedidgood.”

HollywoodLife.com reported on Jan. 17 that the couple was planning on getting married. It appears as though Jamie finally put a ring on it!

Jamie Lynn split from her ex-fiance and her daughter’s dad Casey Aldridge in March 2009, just nine months after Maddie, 4, was born.

The former Zoey 101 star took a break from her career to focus on motherhood after getting pregnant as a teen, but lately she’s been trying to kick off a country-music career and lives in both her hometown of Kentwood, LA. — at Britney’s mansion — and Nashville, TN.
