Kristen’s hair at the 2013 Oscars represented her casual and carefree attitude perfectly, but one celeb stylist is saying it was too ‘every day’ for the fancy awards show. What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers?
Kristen Stewart, 22, was stunning in a pale pink Reem Acra gown at the 85th annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24. Although her Chanel makeup looked gorgeous, some were confused about her un-done hairstyle when she was surrounded by gorgeous, fancy updos. We think she looks pretty all the time, but was her style too casual for the Oscars? Vote below.
Celebrity hairstylist Claudio Lazo, owner of C The Salon in Studio City, California, told HollywoodLife.com he was slightly disappointed with Kristen’s second-day hair look:
“Such an attractive and talented actress, and a great representative of what ‘young Hollywood’ is about. However, I wanted to see more glamour from her for an event like the Oscars. It’s cool to show your rebelliousness in your everyday dress, but for stellar events like these, I was hoping she would spruce it up a bit more in terms of her hair,” Claudio said.
He continued: “It was too ‘every day’ hair. Classic events are classic events and should be respected as such. You do not want to stray too far from the norm because movie fans all over the world are looking at this event to see the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. They can see the ‘every day you’ celebrity when they read the weekly magazines.”

We agree that her hair was casual for the Oscars, but since a low-key style is what makes Kristen comfortable (especially since she had to overcome being on crutches and being without Robert Pattinson), we give her a free pass!

i saw ms stewart in nyc a few years ago and took her pic and she was not dressed correctly then considering a visit to the letterman show her clothes were unflattering and she looked like trailer trash and she was rude ..the oscars are you kidding me? seen by 22 countries show an example for young women 22 yearolds then do something with the hair get a stylist to fit the dress she once again proves this what trailer trash looks like no excuse for it as julieanne said on fashion police there is a door you can walk through to avoid the red carpet….ms stewart take note here go through the door and dont come out until you a stylist and a better attitude
