J-Law booked it to Hawaii on Feb. 27 to celebrate her Oscar win, but it looks like she did more than just lay out on the beach! Jennifer was caught supplementing her glass of red wine with a curious-looking cigarette. But don’t freak out — this girl deserves a break!

If anyone deserves a week off to kick back and celebrate, it’s Jennifer Lawrence. The Silver Linings Playbook actress was truly caught in the act of kicking back on the balcony of her Hawaii hotel on Feb. 27.

Jennifer Lawrence: Celebrating The Right Way

Pictures were snapped of Jennifer really chilling. Hanging with a friend, the 22-year-old actress brought a bottle of red wine, two glasses, a lighter, and a joint of sorts onto the balcony.

She and her friend were still rocking their PJs — J-Law in a loose-fitting gray t-shirt and sweats, and her friend in a tanktop and heart-print boxer shorts. The two appeared to be having a moment of solid bonding, as they were photographed intensely hugging each other.

This is the way to celebrate an Oscar! Don’t go on a bender and smash bottles in the club. Don’t ghost-ride your whip. Just jet off to Hawaii like you’re Jay-Z or something and “enjoy” yourself!

Jennifer’s on top of the world — winning awards and having great friends and all that, so we can’t blame her for basking in the glory. Go ahead J-Law: wave that lighter in the air if you want!

Jennifer Lawrence — Let’s All Give Her A Break

Some have questioned Jennifer’s behavior since she face-planted on her way to accept the Academy Award for Best Actress, but we’re sort of warming up to it.

Let’s brush off Jennifer’s harsh wit during her post-Oscars press conference as just a young girl being sarcastic and mean. You know, like most young girls are! When asked what happened when she fell, J-Law shot back with snark: “What do YOU think happened? Look at my dress!” Ask yourself — what would YOU say to someone who asked that question?

And as for flipping the bird while photographers’ cameras snapped away, Jennifer claims she was joking with her team. It might seem like bad manners, but can’t she live? (Wow, she has more in common with Jay-Z than we thought!)

1) If it’s pot, she’s breaking the law.

2) Her parents moved her from Kentucky to LA, and paid all her expenses for years while she auditioned and worked her way up. They must be proud to see these pics.

3) In a recent LA times article I read, “She’s also acutely aware of the influence she has on young women, particularly now that she’s playing the strong, self-possessed heroine Katniss Everdeen”. Obviously these pics show us how seriously she takes being a role model. And what about that pic of her flipping the bird at the Oscars right after her acceptance speech? Yeah, great role model.

I really don’t understand though, other celebrities like Justin Bieber are seen smoking whatever they smoke and everyone freaks out, but when it’s J-Law, it’s alright? I don’t really care what they do, it’s their choice, but it’s kinda stupid

So if u are suggesting that she is smoking pot, half the frickin world smokes pot so why is it a big deal if she is? Also very scary that she is being photographed in her personal space like that. What an invasion of privacy!!

Dear HL, fyi: she’s not in Hawaii to take a break – even though she certainly takes the opportunity -, she’s there for work. Geez. A minimal research.
Also, weed is a no-brainer, it’s probably something that she would’ve rather not advertised, but it’s not the end of the world. Or her career.

Again, HL is the one who frowns upon weed. Perhaps you haven’t read the surveys that a HUGE percentage of North Americans love the herb!

Hawaii’s always been super weed friendly, worst thing that can happen to jennifer there is she gets the munchies and forgets where she put the doritos!
