Kanye West Calls Kardashian Reality Shows 'Demeaning' -- Report

Kim K’s rapper beau is getting bolder and bolder, now practically pushing her to leave her reality TV career behind. Will Kanye’s anti-’Kardashians’ stance create a rift between the family?

Kanye West kept his desires for girlfriend Kim Kardashian’s future at the start of their relationship, but now he’s making it clear by calling her shows “demeaning!”

A source tells OK! that motherhood isn’t the thing pushing Kim out of her family’s reality show franchise — it’s Kanye!

“Since Kim got pregnant, Kanye’s been emboldened to suggest that maybe she should move on to the next stage of her career,” says the rapper’s friend.

“He’s been watching her shows and he thinks they’re demeaning to her and the rest of the family,” the source reveals. “He has these nightmares that Kim will give birth to their child on TV,” the friend continues.

It’s a fairly ballsy move for Kanye, to strongly suggest that Kim give up the thing that’s made her career. Especially because reality TV has become such a Kardashian family institution.

Reportedly Kim freaked the first time Kanye brought it up because “her whole business model has been built around a fishbowl experience.”

Kanye is looking to get his girlfriend and baby mama off of cable TV and into the fashion world, reportedly in hopes that he and Kim become as glamorous as his friends Jay-Z and Beyonce. ”He says that they need to build the brand,” the same source says.

Kim now seems like she’s totally on board for a career revamp. “I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities,” Kim said in an interview with the French magazine L’Officiel Hommes.

We can think of one person who probably isn’t getting on the Kim-Kardashian-fashion-icon train – Kris Jenner! Though Kim has promised to remain on Keeping Up With The Kardashians until season 10 (they’re currently finishing season 8), Kris will not be happy to lose her hottest commodity.

“Kris was furious when she found out what Kim was planning,” another source told OK!

Kris has gone as far as calling Kim’s decision for more privacy a betrayal.

Kim continues her life as if nothing. Kanye’s is very upset, he was just voted #7 rapper,when he is used to being #1. Everyone is blaming his relationship with Kim, the traveling,etc. He was always infatuated with Kim. What happens when you get what youv’e always wanted? it fizzles…it’s OVER!! It wasn’t love for them, it was lust & now they have a baby on the way, which neither one of them looked for, nor wanted, it disturbs their lifestyle. This won’t work either………………..

Go Kanye! I hope he gets his way. So sick and tired of everything Kardashian! I stopped watching X factor because they put a Kardashian who knows nothing about hosting on the show.

If Kim listens to kenye her career is going to go down the drain. the fact that shes not going to talk about her relationships or show them, even the baby news then its not going to get a lot of watcher. viewers want to see everything, thats what made her. kenye will destroy her brand, he knew her before they got together, he knew what she was about before he got her pregnant. shes going to later regret having a baby with him. actually she could have the baby then leave him. shell get kenyes money for that and can still have the chance to find someone else. she shouldnt marry him. that will kill it all. hes a control freek. remember Amber, she said he was a control freek. I can’t see that Kim would give Kanye ALL OF THIS power and telling her to do something else…He is controlling and is definitely trying to be another Jay-Z….I know Kim has Already been a push over for her men and yet come up empty handed.
