It’s hardly an uncommon sight, but the timing is troubling, since on the very same day, Feb. 24, Kristen Stewart was walking the red carpet at the Academy Awards on crutches after hurting her foot — all alone. A source tells HollywoodLife.com Kristen was upset because she was waiting for Rob’s call — but it never came.
Robert Pattinson Meets Fans Down Under
On Feb. 25, a fan named Louise Lynch posted a photo on Instagram with Rob, 26, at the Leigh Creek Tavern. “Just a casual Monday sesh. #robertpattinson #lovedmyhair #mademeblush #tookhisorder #gavehimgarlicbread #wetight #bff #XXXX #luckygirl #luckyguy #sadhisgone #hadconnection #mustbelove #hastag #somuchtosay #robo #pattsy #therover,” she posted.
Rob seems to be running into fans all over Australia as he films The Rover, and since he is such a nice guy, he is happy to pose for pics.
Kristen Stewart Limps At The Academy Awards
Kristen hobbled down the red carpet and on stage while presenting the award for Best Production Design with Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe.
Next to a visibly pained Kristen, Daniel told E! News he felt horrible!
“I felt so bad. I just wanted to pick her up, put her in my arms and carry her onto the stage!” Daniel said. “I probably would have dropped her and opened her wound again,” he laughed.
Kristen Was Waiting For Rob’s Call
As we told you on Feb. 25, ”Kristen Stewart was VERY depressed at the Oscars,” a source tells us exclusively. “She thought Rob would at least call and congratulate her but he didn’t at all. She kept her phone near her and checked it for texts but they never came.”
Our source continued: “It was just a bad weekend, between the injury and being lonely. She felt dumb and was holding back tears the whole night. Kristen was on the verge of tears during Oscars because Rob didn’t call her.” Poor K-Stew!
