Plus, Carrie gets an offer of a lifetime, two couples bite the dust and a huge secret is revealed!
On the February 25 episode of The Carrie Diaries, Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb) and her friends get caught between worlds and they’re forced to make some hard decisions. (Ah, the life of a teenager…)
It’s winter dance time! Initially reluctant to invite her college boyfriend (Richard Kohnke) to a high school dance, Carrie eventually changes her mind and sees the dance as the perfect opportunity to make Sebastian (Austin Butler) jealous. However, when George takes Carrie’s motives as a sign that she’s looking for a quickie in the back of his limo, she breaks up with him.
In the midst of all this boy drama, Carrie gets offered an internship at Interview magazine, but she’s afraid to leave her spot at the law firm in light of potentially upsetting her dad.
Carrie’s dad gets caught in an awkward situation when tickets to go see The Nutcracker come in the mail. Dorrit (Stefania Owen) would traditionally go with her late mother, so her dad feels obligated to take her. Her dad falls asleep during the show, which angers Dorrit, but they work it out in the end.
Walt (Brendan Dooling), who is unfortunately absent from this episode, is sick with the chicken pox, so Maggie (Katie Findlay) is forced to go to the dance alone. She insists that she’s fine going stag, but Maggie isn’t alone for long. She soon finds herself in the back of a cop car, hooking up with sexy Simon! Unfortunately, Maggie is caught in the act by Donna (Chloe Bridges), who threatens to tell the world about her little tryst, promising jail time, a tarnished reputation and trouble for her and Walt. As long as Maggie can keep Carrie away from Sebastian, Donna will keep her little secret. Sadly for Donna, Maggie confesses everything to Carrie anyway.
Mouse (Ellen Wong) breaks up with Seth (Kyle Harris) after her grades take a turn for the worst. Coincidentally, Seth admits that his grades were suffering as a result of their relationship as well. They mutually part ways.
What did you think of tonight’s episode, HollywoodLifers? Are you still a fan of the show?

The Carrie Diaries has turned out better than I thought it would be when it aired. I’m really looking forward to seeing what happens to Carrie now that she has turned down the dream internship. This season I’ve been working late at DISH most nights, so I’m just getting the chance to catch up with the show. Today during my lunch break I was watching The Carrie Diaries on my iPad, thanks to the new DISH Anywhere app. It will stream the recorded shows from my DVR, or live TV, to my iPad wherever I have internet access.
