Sandra Bullock, in a stunning Elie Saab dress, surprised fans and fashion critics alike with her close-to-the-ear hair clip. Did you LOVE or LOATHE the look? Vote below!
Even though Sandra Bullock wasn’t nominated at this year’s Academy Awards, that doesn’t mean she wasn’t grabbing the attention. She looked gorgeous with a smoky eye, a nude lip, and ultra-simple pin-straight hair. However, instead of necklaces or bracelets, Sandra added a little bling to her hair with a gorgeous Harry Winston clip. Did her risky jewel pay off?
Placed just above her left ear, the embellished clip pulled back a section of her silky hair, showing off her defined cheekbones and simple diamond earrings. With pink blush on cheeks and a nude lip, her smoky eye looked absolutely stunning with the dark color of her Elie Saab gown.
Some felt that her flowy straight hair took away from the fitted lacy black gown, which was embellished and see-through in some sections, showing off her toned physique. If her locks had been pulled back into a sleek pony, like at the 2012 Oscars or the teased locks from this year’s Golden Globes, the attention would have been drawn to the dress.
When Sandra took home the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress in 2010 for her role in The Blind Side; she also wore a sheer lacy fitted gown — that one by Marchesa. However, her hair had a bit of a curl at the bottom, adding volume. Contrasting with the tight silhouette of the gown, the curls and dress stood separate allowing rave reviews landing her on the best dressed list.
However, with her hair pin-straight this year, it took away from her amazing shape.
Regardless, Sandra looked absolutely stunning at the awards, where she presented the Oscar for Best Film Editing.

I like it, and she won the Best Actress Oscar in 2010.
