The fashionable First Lady made a surprise appearance as a presenter at the award show — and she fit right in with all of the stylish stars, dazzling in a silver Naeem Khan gown.
Michelle Obama stunned just like our favorite screen sirens when she helped Jack Nicholson present the award for Best Film via satellite at the 85th Annual Academy Awards in LA on Feb. 24, where the First Lady stole the spotlight in her sparkling Naeem Khan gown.
Michelle shared the news that Argo would take home the award, all while eloquently addressing a room full of gorgeous stars — ant the FLOTUES looked just as stunning, sparkling in her custom-made, silver gown. The smoke grey and silver art deco inspired frock was beaded, while the square neckline of the sleeveless tulle gown allowed the fashionable First Lady to flaunt one of her favorite assets, her toned arms!
With her hair pinned back, (but with her new bangs right in place), she kept the focus on the frock, while her statement earrings by Sutra Silver at Fragments added the perfect touch to her Oscar-worthy ensemble — but that wasn’t the only place Michelle showed off the dress!
The First Lady was quite the multi-tasker last night, taking a break from her hosting duties at the Govenors’ Dinner to make a surprise appearance at the Oscars — and her dazzling gown was a great choice for both occasions!
Michelle is a pro at when it comes to dressing appropriate for every occasion, but she also isn’t afraid to flaunt her figure and embrace her curves — and that’s why we love her style so much! Naeem Khan is definitely one of the First Lady’s favorite designers, and given how exquisite she looks in the designer’s gowns her affinity for the silhouettes comes as no surprise.
What did you think of Michelle’s dress? Was it seriously chic? Were you surprised to see her at the Oscars?
