Poor Kristen! She was obviously hurting at the Oscars on Feb. 24, and now we know why she was limping down the carpet and on stage!
Before Kristen Stewart hobbled on stage to present at the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24, she ran into Anne Hathaway backstage and revealed the truth about her mysterious foot injury!
“Oh no!” the Best Actress Oscar winner, 31, reportedly said after seeing Kristen’s crutches, according to Us Weekly.
“I know, I’m an idiot,” Kristen said. “But congratulations!” she added after seeing Anne’s hard-earned Oscar in hand.
“Please tell me you’re going on stage with those [crutches],” Anne said, the AP reports. “Nope,” Kristen replied. “I’m gonna hobble.”
Anne joked, “Well, break a leg . . . Oops!”
Kristen explained that she cut her foot after stepping on glass. “I just hope [the wound] doesn’t open up right now.”

The Twilight actress’ team also told Us Weekly about Kristen’s injury. Her manicurist Ashlie Johnson said, “She had sliced her foot and everyone was worrying about would she wear heels or flats or one heel, crutches or no crutches. She tried so many options, she was really a trouper.”
“Kristen was nervous about her crutches so having her friends around playing music was just what she needed,” hairstylist Danilo said. “We all were trying to make her feel better and her friends were trying to tell her she’d be fine, she has insecurities about being in front of people so today was even tougher.”
Rob To The Rescue?
We hoped that Robert Pattinson would give Kristen a call and comfort her, but a source close to her exclusively told HollywoodLife.com that she was bummed all night that he didn’t!
“It was just a bad weekend, between the injury and being lonely,” the source said. “She felt dumb and was holding back tears the whole night.”

Kristen Stewart is an AMAZING human being, She is full of courage and hard working, she looked beautiful and I specially loved her beautiful big, moving and the flow of her hair, and she kept on smiling through her pain, Daniel should have supported her getting to the point of announcing, Taylor Lautner would have supported her with grace. Congratulations Kristen Stewart, much love and support from your fans and admirers You looked stunning in every way
To answer the question in the yellow box properly, during the relationship of 4-years between Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson he has never been the caring or loving boyfriend ever, it was always just about him, he is extremely SELF-CENTRED and it was always just about him. Sorry but true and he said in an interview not to give info to the media and ignore them, if they did bother with a few decent statements to their fans there would not have been so many lies published, I hope Kristen will go back to her own way, she and Michael always smiled at the Media.
I agree with you 100%. Rob is very selfish and immature. I’ve always felt that Kristen could do much better than him.

She is a real trooper! Everyone one looked great,Seth made me cringe in some of his remarks. We talk about abuse of drinking and drugs and it is glorified on stage big time by seth.

You are giving me whiplash HWL. You just reported a very degrading story about how she was sick even after fans told you she had an accident. Now since you have found out the truth about Kristen you try to praise her for attending. Just to set it right for you it was tweeted by her make up artist when she came for the rehearsal on Saturday. People mag not US Weekly were told this by several of the people helping Kristen that night at the Oscars and during the Oscar rehearsal on Saturday. I imagine US Weekly will try to take credit for it though since they are so good about stealing, twisting, and rehashing articles like you are. This was all reported on a Kristen fan site with the tweets included on the site so her true fans already knew this when you were degrading and slandering her earlier on your site. It would help you so much if your reporters would get their stories straight before reporting lies on someone and then back tracking when the truth comes out. Gossip Cop is right you always have to back track your stories when the truth hits you in the face. Stop reporting lies and you want end up with egg on your face every time. How can anyone believe what you say about any celebrity with the track record you have.
