During the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Feb. 24, ABC released a promo that revealed the Baltimore Ravens star as the first cast member of season 16 of Dancing With the Stars! Read on to see who Jacoby will be competing against!
Jacoby Jones Will Compete On ‘Dancing With The Stars’
Jacoby is well used to competing on the playing field, but now he will have to compete on the dance floor. In sequins! “He’s already won a Super Bowl ring,” a sporty announcer-type blared in the promo on ABC, followed by “What’s he going to do next? DANCE.”
Well if the Super Bowl winner is as good at dancing as he is at football, then he may win his second big victory this year!
Other Stars That Are Going To Be On ‘DWTS’
So who will Jacoby be competing against? The full cast will be announced on Good Morning America on Feb. 26, but in the meantime, we can give you a sneak peek!
A source close to the show tells HollywoodLife.com ECLUSIVELY that current Bachelor Sean Lowe, celebrity chef Bobby Flay, and Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman are some of the people that Jacoby will be competing against. Plus, he won’t be the only sports star, as an unidentified boxer is also in the mix.
And he may be facing one of his football rivals for the second time this year!
Our insider also tells us that San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been asked to compete for the mirror ball trophy, but his name may not be announced on GMA.
Plus, the show will be getting a little bit country, as singers Wynonna Judd and Kellie Pickler are also rumored to be taking part.
Finally Jersey Shore star Deena Cortese exclusively told HollywoodLife.com that she would love to be on DWTS!
