Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder are the perfect couple. The darling duo snapped a few pics in the back of their limo as they headed to Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party held at The Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles, CA on Feb. 24.

Nina tweeted on Feb. 25, “This may be the most epic night of my life. No explanation necessary. I’ll leave it to the imagination :)” We can certainly imagine a few scenarios!

Ian, on the other hand, tweeted, “My life is fricking complete-i just had a 5 minute conversation with Daniel Day Lewis…my hero.Wow.Life is amazing…”

An eyewitness at Elton’s party tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder looked very stressed out. He was on his cell phone and covering his mouth with his hand.” We have a feeling they needed this night out together! All work and no play is not good for the soul. Based off their tweets, we’re glad to see their date turned their moods around!

How Nina & Ian Celebrated Valentine’s Day

”On set, filming [of The Vampire Diaries] all Day,” Nina tweeted on Feb. 14. “Doesn’t matter that its Valentines day… Still gotta work.” Of course, ‘working’ alongside Ian probably wasn’t the worst way to spend the most romantic day of the year.

The romance is clearly still alive for Nina and Ian, despite their hectic schedules — they looked so in love as they headed to Elton John’s party.
