Taylor Swift Doesn't Mind If Her Ex-Boyfriends Write Songs About Her

Taylor may still be considered the good girl of the pop world, but after her performance at the BRIT Awards, stripping from a wedding dress to a sexy lingerie-like outfit, that image is slowly-but-surely disappearing. And just as she’s known for writing songs about her A-list breakups, she understands her exes may end up writing about her, too.

It’s no secret that Taylor Swift loves her musicians. So, what happens if one of her many exes take note from her and reveal their feelings via song?

Go Ahead, Harry Styles, Write About Taylor

Taylor’s OK with it, according to April’s issue of InStyle.

“If I’m gonna write songs about my exes, they can write songs about me,” she told the mag. “That’s how it works.”

Do you hear that, Harry Styles? How about you, John Mayer? Joe Jonas? Taylor continues in the mag to explain that “it’s fair game,” so it wouldn’t be right if she got upset when her exes wrote songs about her, since she writes (and writes, and writes) songs about her breakups.

“I’m not gonna sit there and say, ‘I’m the only one who can write songs about this relationship,’” the “I Knew You Were Trouble” singer explained, which is good to know since One Direction singing a break up ballad sounds like a good idea, in our book.

Taylor’s Next Boyfriend Will Be British

After the BRIT Awards, Taylor changed into yet another sexy dress and hit up a Sony after party, where she was seen flirting and dancing with Rizzle Kicks’ singer Jordan Stephens. Jordan, 21, does happen to be friends with Harry — the two were seen partying together at Hix restaurant for a pre-party the night before, with some mystery girls!

According to RadarOnline.com, Taylor was also overheard saying that she wanted her next man to be British. So, while Jordan is British, she also was seen leaving a pub on Thursday, Feb. 21 with 22-year-old British singer, Tom Odell.

Harry, you go get to work on that next song, now that you have Taylor’s permission.

Just because she publicly says she doesn’t mind; doesn’t mean anything. Of course she’s not going to say to the world ‘I don’t want them to it’d hurt my feelings’. Also if they did, you know she’d retaliate; she needs to grow up; she’s an adult now and needs to act like it. She’s not some 14 year old girl.

Joe Jonas already did, he said in a song “I’m sick of super-stars and the teardrops on her guitar”

I can’t wait to here I chose the Wrong Styles from the album I went the wrong direction. Seriously, she needs to slow down with the boyfriends cause until now they were extremely nice about it and maybe the next few won’t be. Maybe somebody should fight fire with some more fire instead of getting burn in flames. Swift has said for years that she has no problems with an ex writing about her, so this is nothing new. Even though Swift never talks publicly about any of her relationships, Certainly an ex can do so. Like she has always said–it works both ways.
