The songwriter infamously shares all of the details of her former relationships in her music — and she reveals that it’s a ‘fair game’ and she’s totally cool with them knocking her, too! Are you surprised that Taylor says she doesn’t care?

Taylor Swift, 23, looks so angelic in this sneak peek of the star’s April 2013 cover shoot with InStyle UK magazine — but as we all know, she’s not that innocent! While she loves to pour out all of the dirty details of her love life into her music, (sometimes completely bashing her former flames!), we were surprised to see that the star told the mag she’s totally cool with the idea of having the tables turned on her. Can you believe that she wouldn’t care if one of her famous exes penned a revenge song about her?

Taylor Swift Grants Her Exes Permission To Pen Break-Up Songs

The star was totally candid, telling InStyle UK, “If I’m gonna write songs about my exes they can write songs about me.” Wow, Tay! We were definitely a bit surprised to hear the star openly address the possibility of hearing a revenge song that was penned about her and her behavior in a relationship. “That’s how it works. I’m not gonna complain about it. I’m not gonna sit there and say, ‘I’m the only one who can write songs about this relationship.’ It’s fair game.”

What a very mature response to a very talked-about issue with the pop-star! Everyone loves the lyrics, but it always causes quite the stir when she debuts a new, angst-ridden song. What do you think?
