The R&B superstar and ‘The Voice’ star kicked off his new Las Vegas show ‘Loberace’ with an amazing concert in Atlantic City at Harrah’s Resort Concert Venue, and an after-show performance at Pool After Dark nightclub! Read our five reasons why you must see his Vegas show.

As Cee Lo Green takes a break from the hit NBC show The Voice, he is focusing on his new Las Vegas live show “Loberace” — and he kicked off a series of headlining performances with an energy-packed concert in Atlantic City on Feb. 16 at Harrah’s Resort Concert Venue, and an after-party at Pool After Dark nightclub where he sang an encore of more hits! Read our top reasons you must see him live.

1. Cee Lo’s show is perfect for all ages.

The Voice alum wowed the crowd with some of his memorable Top 40 hits, including his number-one hit “F**k You” and “Bright Lights, Bigger City,” which were upbeat for a younger audience. He also performed some slower R&B jams, and brought his signature cool personality to the stage — just like how he acts on the family-friendly musical talent show!

2. He performed some Gnarls Barkley songs.

Cee Lo also struck a nostalgic cord with the crowd when he performed the mega 2006 hit he created with Gnarls Barkley, “Crazy.” He nailed the song as a solo artist, and even had projections on screen that reminded us of the hit music video!

3. Cee Lo gets the crowd pumped — and keeps his energy level high.

When members of the audience wanted to take a seat in between songs, Cee Lo reminded everyone to get up and dance! He wanted positive energy to flow throughout the venue, and it totally worked — people of all ages were on their feet, and the fun atmosphere was contagious. And the Grammy nominee didn’t stop the fun at his show — he came back for more at The Pool After Dark nightclub later that evening, and played a few of his hits to a younger, more enthusiastic night club crowd, including a cover of the Pussycat Dolls hit song, “Don’t Cha!” He did change out of his sweaty leather shirt, though.

4. The smooth-talking musician tells good stories!

Cee Lo took a minute between songs to detail how he felt about each song with great passion and humor, and set the tone for each single he was about to perform. He candidly revealed that “F**k You” was about a woman he knew who was a gold digger and broke up with him, but now the joke’s on her since he is so successful!

5. He’s as suave on stage as he is on TV.

When Cee Lo stops singing and talks to the audience in between songs, it’s clear he has as much passion, enthusiasm and soul as he does on the hit TV show The Voice. He talks about how much he loves romance, his relationship with his wife Christina and how he loves his bright bling. He even joked that his outfit that night — a red leather shirt and black and red leather pants — were in homage of Eddie Murphy‘s stand-up special Delirious!

Cee Lo kicks off his Las Vegas show “Loberace” on Feb. 27, and his shows run through April at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas. His shows on Wednesdays through Fridays begin at 11 p.m., and the shows on Saturday begin at midnight. With Cee Lo performing at Caeser Entertainment’s Planet Hollywood in Vegas, it’s sure to be just as entertaining and trendy of a venue as Atlantic City’s Harrah’s Resort — if you’re in Vegas, you must check out his show!
