There were major waterworks going on during Rihanna’s birthday. A source close to the singer tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that ‘she was overwhelmed.’ Could an engagement ring have been the trigger?
Rihanna may have celebrated her birthday with family and friends on Feb. 20, but the “Diamonds” singer did her best to make her day all about her and Chris Brown! Tears were shed, real love was shared and Rihanna had “the time of her life.”
A source close to RiRi tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Rihanna just chilled the whole day with Chris and didn’t want to be bothered — she was having the time of her life, turning 25 and was turned up the whole damn day. She didn’t have a care in the world. Everybody that is important to her, all the people in her life that mean something to her, came out and showed her love. That’s real love and she was just in awe of it all. I don’t know if she was overwhelmed or just f***ed up, but she cried throughout the day. She was just real happy and thankful. Yeah, thankful, she’s so grateful for everything that’s happened in her young life.”
“The day was real chill, though. They ate, slept, chilled on the beach for a hot minute and just lounged. Some of RiRi’s family was there too and everyone just chilled and had a good time. For the most part, everyone was just celebrating Rihanna,” our source adds.

Rihanna, 25, was spotted in a sexy fishnet skirt, as she walked on the Hawaiian beach with Chris, 23, on Feb. 20. Through the fishnet material, you could see that Rihanna has a sexy tattoo on her rear end! We have a feeling Chris is a fan of that one.
The Barbadian beauty was also wearing a suspicious ring on her ring finger. Did she and Chris get engaged? Perhaps that’s why Rihanna was so “emotional.”
