Jessica Simpson, 32, is expecting her second bundle of joy, but this time it’s a boy! According to a new report, the Fashion Star mentor is already spilling the beans on the name has picked out for her baby on the way with fiancé Eric Johnson, 33.
Ace Wins The Race For Jessica & Eric
“[She’s] told people she’s going to name the baby Ace!” the source tells Us Weekly. The singer, who is the mom to 9-month-old daughter Maxwell, hasn’t revealed how she and Eric came up with the name yet. But Maxwell is an unconventional choice for a girl, so it looks like they are on the same path!
Jessica Explains Where The Name Maxwell Drew Came From
The couple decided on the name Maxwell to honor both sides of their family, Jessica revealed last year. Maxwell is not only Eric’s middle name — it’s also his grandmother’s maiden name! Jessica kept up with the maiden name theme as well — Drew is her mom Tina’s maiden name.
“It’s nothing shocking and nothing you’ll have to add to the dictionary. Still, when people hear it they’ll know …why,” she told Elle magazine in the April 2012 issue of her baby name choice.
Jessica is on a baby-making roll with Maxwell Drew barely a year old. With baby bump #2 exposed, it looks like Jessica is really enjoying being a mommy!
“Motherhood is a dream,” she told Katie Couric back in September. “It really is amazing.”

After the “Maxwell Drew” b.s. I was expecting them to name their son “Elizabeth Claire” or something equally gender inappropriate.
