Vanessa tells HollywoodLife.com why she loved playing a ‘completely different’ character than we’re used to seeing. Watch our video interview!
Gabriella Who? When Vanessa Hudgens‘ new movie Spring Breakers hits theaters in March, you’re going to forget all about her squeaky clean High School Musical persona — and it sounds like that’s exactly what V-Hudge is hoping for. “It was very liberating,” she told HollywoodLife.com about her racy new role Feb. 12 at the Alice + Olivia Fall 2013 presentation during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
In fact, she told us the whole experience was exciting for her.
“It was great, it was a very creative place,” she explained. “Every single day, you’d show up to work thinking you knew what was going on, then your mind would be blown. You’d be doing something completely different.”
And if you think the set was full of girl-on-girl drama, think again!
“They’re incredible girls,” she said of co-stars Ashley Benson, Selena Gomez and Rachel Korine. “I love them to death.”
Vanessa Hudgens Talks Style
Since we chatted with Vanessa at a New York Fashion Week event, of course we couldn’t resist talking to her about her personal style.
“It’s literally, like, whatever I gravitate towards,” she explained. “I love everything. I love playing with themes, eras, whatever I can do to spice it up and make it fun.”
As for her outfit that day, she described it as “fun” and “very ’50s-inspired,” before admitting that she’d been “twirling around all day.”
