Karrueche Tran’s posed for a steamy series of photos for ‘Vibe’s Feb/March 2013 issue! Do you think she’s hoping to catch Chris Brown’s eye with her new pics?

Karrueche Tran‘s stepping into the limelight and out of ex-boyfriend Chris Brown‘s shadow with a sexy new photo shoot in Vibe magazine’s Feb/March 2013 issue! But with the 24-year-old model promoting The Kill — her fashion line joint venture with Chris — in the photos, is she using the shoot to get her ex’s attention?

Karrueche Tran’s Business Partnership With Chris Brown

Karrueche recently launched her clothing line at a party in Atlanta on Jan. 17! In the days leading up to the launch, she spoke with Vibe about how the partnership with her 23-year-old ex-boyfriend came about.

“Chris [Brown] wanted to do a female line for his men’s line ['Black Pyramid'],” she told the magazine. “So he asked me to take over and ‘The Kill’ was gonna be a women’s only line but it’s actually unisex.”

She said that she and Chris have had this clothing line in the works for quite some time! “It’s been a few months,” she said. “When I first started, I pretty much thought of the name. Then from there, we started making very basic sample t-shirts, hats, beanies and socks. That’s what a lot of people saw online and on Instagram. They saw certain people wearing it, so it created this really big buzz in our very first stages. We got a little bit ahead of ourselves and we wanted to do this really awesome launch on 12/12/12, but we kinda had to slow it down ‘cause things weren’t 100% completely done. That’s why we waited.”

With Chris pretty firmly romantically attached to Rihanna, 24, cuddling up to each other in the audience at The Grammy Awards on Feb. 10, it must be difficult for Karrueche to continue to interact with him in a strictly professional sense, even though she’s attempting to move on with new beau J. Ryan La Cour!
