Selena has been friends with Lily for years, so you know they HAD to have discussed Selena’s high-profile split from Justin!

Nothing beats a relaxing lunch with your girlfriend, especially when you’ve been through as much as Selena Gomez has been lately. The Wizards of Waverly Place star, 20, was spotted Feb. 12 grabbing food at Sushi Dan in Studio City, Calif., with Lily Collins, 23, and we would have loved to have been a fly on the wall for that conversation!

Both hidden behind pairs of oversized sunglasses, the girls looked like they were having a great time together, with no shortage of gossip to share. (I mean, Justin Bieber aside, these are two girls who both dated Taylor Lautner!) But we’re sure the hottest topic of conversation was Selena’s dramatic — and ongoing — split from Justin.

Along with being friends, the girls also share a talent agent.

Of course, the girls weren’t totally alone for lunch: A biker rode by and asked to get a picture with Selena! She politely obliged, flashing a peace sign as he snapped a shot on his iPhone. She’s so fan-friendly!

Despite all the evidence suggesting that the pair have officially called it quits — a source close to Selena tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that she “doesn’t want to see” Justin — we were surprised to see a picture of Selena hanging out with Justin’s pal Alfredo Flores after the Grammys this week!

Yes, Selena and Alfredo are friends themselves, but isn’t it a little curious to see her associating with someone connected to Justin so soon after the split?

Another source told HollywoodLife.com that Justin asked Alfredo to talk him up to Selena, in the hopes of eventually winning her back.

Maybe “Jelena” has a future, after all!

I thought I read he said he was single…?? Been seen with lots of different girls lately,…oh we’ll …
I am sure he will let the public know if he has a special girlfriend in his life…. when he is ready too. I know celebrities like their privacy…. but part of their jobs depends upon them being in the public eye and when they are not up front with it….then speculation and rumor persists and grows. I am a believer in being in front of your own story…you are the only one that has the TRUE power to control YOUR story….and in this age of posers on twitter (way scary) and other online stuff…I think YOU NEED to actively put your truth out there…this way people can tell TRUTH from FICTION it STOPS or impedes the rumors. Your fans will always care and you really need and want them to.
