Katy Perry & Rihanna Refused To Sit Together At The Grammys — Report

Rihanna must have been carrying her ‘umbrella’ at the Grammys because there was so much shade being thrown around! According to a new report, Katy and RiRi refused to sit next to each other at the Feb. 10 awards ceremony because the ‘Teenage Dream’ singer doesn’t approve of Rihanna’s relationship with Chris Brown!

Rihanna and Katy Perry were once inseparable — that is until Chris Brown came back into the picture. Katy reportedly doesn’t approve of RiRi’s relationship with Chris, and her feelings caused a lot of frustration for staffers in charge of seat assignments at the Feb. 10 Grammy Awards.

“Such a headache!” an insider tells Us Weekly magazine.

Rihanna, 24, and Katy, 28, reportedly refused to sit near each other.

“They aren’t tight anymore because Katy doesn’t approve of Rihanna dating Chris Brown,” the insider adds.

The Kiss That Ended It All

As far back as November, reports suggested that Rihanna’s relationship with Chris caused a rift between her relationship with Katy.

“They’re barely talking and ever since the couple reunited, there has been tension between them. Katy has been spending a lot of time with pals Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Katy fears Rihanna is making a huge mistake and doesn’t want to be part of it,” a source in Katy’s camp told Confidenti@l at the time.

The last time Katy and Rihanna were spotted together was during the MTV Video Music Awards, where Rihanna planted her first kiss on Chris — publicly — since their break up in 2009.

UPDATE: It’s true! A source tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Katy made the special request.

My take on this is that Katy Perry was probably never a true friend in the beginning. A true friend will express to you his or her opinion, that they may not agree with a decision a friend is making, but they will remain friends to the end. Grow up people, a friend in who stands by your side when you are in need is surely a true friend indeed. If Rhianna or any of us look to the Lord, he can only send to us a true friend. Be aware of the false pretenders. FALSE PRETENDERS……..STOP PRETENDING!!!!!!!!! RiRi you and your man keep your up and keep your hearts humble. Tupac (rip) woke up one day and said F$$K THE WORLD’,,,,,,,, the way some people are, they will bring you there. As Christians, some of us, just need to pray for this judgemental world of ppl. Really, JESUS is your only friend. RiRi and Chris only needs GOD and each other; that looks like a complete package to me. People will disappoint you time and time again, put only your trust in GOD.

I understand Katy. It’s really hard to see a friend walk down a road that leads to tragedy (according to Katy). I’ve been in that situation my self and it’s really hard to do. You love your friend and you don’t want to see them hurt. And let’s consider this, Katy may know the real story, not the one that shows up on blogs like this. And ask yourself this question, If you had a best friend, and she had been beat to a pulp by some guy, cried on your couch about it, in detail, and then, got back to gether with this guy, how would you feel? Give Katy a break. This one is hard.

It wasn’t like they would sit together again anyway for the way she been acting. Earlier last year she wasn’t like this until now and it’s time she should get over it. But if nothing ever works out then I guess she won’t be cool with rihanna anymore and I also guess that she won’t be one of the bridesmaids at Rihanna’s wedding if she and & Chris ever gets married lol.

First of I love me some Katy Perry but if this story is in fact true. Katy probably wants RIH for herself. lol I am sure she was nibbling on RIH’S shoulder and grabbing on her rear end at last year VMA’S. John Mayer is no catch himself plus she is hanging out with Robert P and Stewart well that’s a model couple. HL stop with the lies.
