Rick Recounts Being Held At Gunpoint by Chris
Rick says that just a few seconds after Chris let him go, a shootout erupted between officers and Chris.
“He came out onto the road onto the snow,” he says. “He pointed his rifle at me, I stopped, put my truck in park and put my hands up. He was dressed in camouflage. He had an assault sniper-type rifle. He had a big ballistic vest on. He was dressed up to do some damage it looked like.”
But the most shocking part of this is that Chris let Rick go: “He said, ‘I don’t want to hurt you, start walking up the road and take your dog with you’ Within about 10 seconds I heard a volley of gunfire.”
Chris Is Believed To Be Dead
Chris soon after barricaded himself in a remote cabin in the San Bernardino National Forest. Around 5pm the cabin went up in flames and Chris is believed to have died inside.
A body was reportedly found in the basement of the cabin and the AP is reporting that his drivers license was found in there as well. But it could take weeks for the forensic tests to come back with a definitive answer.

wouldn’t be something if it was not Dorner,? I think they just burned him up cause they where all hipped up with all the attention of this whole horror show.Dorner was well aware when he killed that it was his death warrant,he knew he was dealing with corruption in the L.A police department.I have the feeling he was a just man who lost it, he was tried of being apart of fellow cops abusing the public. Hopefully this will cause a real honest cleanup in the L.A police department. It is always after a tragedy like this for those people who where killed and this L.A. officer’s death they will get rid of jaded cops.I hope so.
